Good morning, yes oma, I realised that later on!!! It is snowing here and blowing a gale, bitter cold, we have been told to stay home and not travel today, not that I was going to go anywhere. It won't help the roads with the curfew from 9 to 4-30.

I have been meaning to get rid of a lot out of the shed, albums, comic , etc, I have brought them up here to sort out and discovered I have a few very old ones, 1945, worth quite a bit but I will have to take my time to look into how that all works. They have been in the shed for YEARS so no hurry. I did find a price list of our outdoor pool for 1983, my sons spent all their spare time there.

We had a few flakes of snow, very windy and I think cold. I think GD,s wound has healed now and her feet are back to normal. I went in to watch the rugby yesterday, they had to put baby H in the other SR as my SIL, shouts a lot when watching rugby. It was a dreadful game, England were so poor, Scotland deserved to win. I had a poor nights sleep saw 8.30 come round, I then dropped off again until 10.15.

Oma, no birds here, even at the feeders except two Red Kites were enjoying the thermals and flying very low.

No plans for me, probably find a film to watch later and get on with my knitting.

We have drifts because of the wind, they are telling people to stay home, they don't have to tell me twice!

I'm glad you stayed in Lizzie, I would have too!
We had light powdery snow on and off all morning and early afternoon but none settled.

I have had a lazy day. Apart from putting washing on the airers all I have done is read, watch TV and have a long afternoon bath. But then what else is there to do on a winter lockdown Sunday??
Nicest part of the day was DD3 dropping off some home made cookies It was snowing lightly but we had a short chat with her on the drive. I surprised us both by bursting into tears which started her off! It's so long since I last saw her (not this year)and I so wanted to hug her. We are hoping to go for a walk next weekend, weather permitting. I see her sisters due to childcare but I never see her.

OH is cooking. Roast pork dinner on the way!

Very cold and windy here but no snow as yet.

Gemini, I can understand you felt emotional seeing your youngest DD, good idea to arrange a walk together. Roast pork sounds good. I have salmon and roasted vegetables.

Lizzie, those snow drifts are amazing, best stay indoors.

We have had the odd little snow flurry but it hasn't come to anything yet.

We have a good covering of snow , not sure if it will stay but its about a inch or more thick so it may do ,
DD SIL and Storm called earlier with some bread for us , they were out with Storm so called into the shop for me ,
Storm came in and instantly shook the snow off his back all over my Glass table

Lizzie - those snow drifts are amazing. It just shows how strong the wind was as there is hardly any snow on the cars. Even more amazing is that there are no footprints in them.

Gem - I'm sure you were ready for a lazy day, and perhaps being a bit tired made you more emotional when you saw DD3. Perhaps also it brings back memories of missing her when she and her OH went to Canada. Sending hugs. xx

Plant - I didn't watch the rugby yesterday but sad to say my OH watched it with a certain amount of glee, followed by great delight over today's match. I shall remind him that Wales only won against Ireland who had a man sent off very early on next time he comments on an England performance.

Oma - it's bitterly cold here as well. We took Eva to the paddock at lunch time, and the most exposed corner faces north-east - directly where the howling wind was coming from! Brrrrrr.... Eva of course, didn't notice - the cold weather brings out her inner Labrador. I bet Storm loves this cold snap.

Had a bit of snow this morning and its settled. Its stopped now.
                          Bitterly cold.

No plans for today, but can always find something to do.

Good morning Nan2. Good morning all.
                            A snowy scene here too.
We are going to go to Aldi later, which is quite an event in the social calendar! We do Click and Collect or Tesco delivery for our shopping, and once every few weeks venture into Aldi, in person.
                            No other plans.

Have a good day, stay warm and safe everyone.

Good morning ladies. No snow here at the moment, and we might miss out on it completely. But it is very cold - a day to stay indoors and keep warm.

Nanto - how much snow have you had?

Gem - an exciting day for you with a trip to Aldi's.

Oma - I hope you 'bank' the energy from your good sleep - don't use it all up on the washing or housework!

I woke about 7 o'clock and decided to have 10 more minutes before I got up. The next thing I knew it was nearly 9 o'clock! I think it will just be a lazy day for me.

I hope nobody's jabs get postponed because of the weather. Take care if you're out and about everyone.
