Sorry to hear about your neighbour Glamm, I wonder where he picked the virus up. Not a good time for you either, hugs from me and thinking of you.

              Good morning ladies.

Once of these days someone is going to report you to your DD Oma
Not as much rain here as was forecast Nan2.

Dentist for me this morning. That filling which I lost in December being replaced. I will probably walk slowly to and from the car park for the novelty of being in town!!

Take care everyone. Have a good day if you can!

Phew you got away with it again Oma

I don't mind the dentist at all, it seems safe there and it's a trip out!!
I may call at my ex neighbours again on my way home. I knocked and got no reply on Monday, when I parked in his street to go to the hospital but he wasn't in. No reply to my email to him yesterday (I don't think he checks them every day though) So I may just drive by there and knock - unless it is pouring with rain as I will be outside and he on the doorstep!

Doesn't your DD wonder why she isn't buying you the things you buy from Aldi?

Gemini, enjoy your time in town getting your crown fixed.

Baby and GD doing fine, it is going to be a bit crowded in there today when the other GC arrive. I told them they could take refuge in here if needed. Poor Sil working from home with all that going on.

Any news of your neighbour Glamm? Hope you are feeling better today.

Hello everyone. I haven't just got up - honestly!

It's pouring with rain here and still very dark, but at least our boiler is now finished, and the house is cosy warm, thank goodness. I braved a cold shower this morning and I have total respect for those hardy souls who run into the sea in all weathers!

Glamm, I'm so sorry to hear Jim is poorly. I do hope that he's ok, and it's such a sad week for you, I know. Sending you big hugs. Thanks goodness Poppy's tests came back clear. You probably need to give her a big cuddle - and I'm sure she would agree. xx (Edit in the evening - I'm so sorry to hear that Poppy took such a sudden turn for the worse, but at least you were with her and able to take her to the vets to make sure she didn't suffer. Sending you hugs and sympathy.)

Oma - you probably shouldn't be going to Aldi's at all, but you go so early I doubt even Covid germs are awake at that hour. Carry on being careful (as I know you are) but I bet DD will find out sooner or later! I'm sure it's good for you to get out a bit. xx

Plant - gosh what a busy day at yours. I'm so pleased to hear Mum and Baby are doing well. I'm sure you're seeing Harriet change by the day. So precious these early weeks. xx

Gem - I hope the dentist went smoothly. It comes to something when having a tooth fixed counts as an outing to be enjoyed! I do hope your ex-neighbour is ok and you manage to see him today. Is S managing to find things to do with the gold courses being closed? It must be hard for her to occupy that time week by week.

Haven’t been on here for a while although I’ve been lurking. Sorry Plant, didn’t even get round to say congratulations for the new baby, she’s lovely.

A couple of weeks ago,it was 5 months since we lost P and for some reason it hit me really hard, so I’ve not done much at all, just stayed home, kept warm. I can’t believe where the time’s gone. Must get back into some sort of living now.

However, I have just had a call from the doctor and I am having my jab on Saturday at the surgery. There is a big Centre in our town which has just opened for mass vaccination but I don’t have to go there, luckily. It’s really perked me up. The person who rang me said they were so pleased that so many of their patients had had their letter and had promptly booked their appointments so they could start doing them at the surgery, saves me a journey.

I will try and catch up with everyone now, feel like I’ve been in limbo.

                            Good morning/afternoon Daisy!
                            All done at the dentist.
OH drove me to the dentist in the end. It saved me trying to find change to pay for parking and getting wet walking from the car park. She dropped me close to the dentist and came back for me. Hence I haven't dropped in on T, ex neighbour. If I have no reply to my email by tomorrow I will try phoning him. No walk around town either - much too wet!
OH is keeping herself occupied in the absence of golf with jigsaws! She and another lady at the club meet in a car park from time to time to swap puzzles! She is also watching last weeks snooker recordings. She and a golf friend had started to meet for a weekly local walk, but the weather hasn't been much good for that lately.

                            It's pouring with rain here!

Enfys - it's lovely to see you, and I totally understand about sometimes just needing to get through each day. You are a very strong and brave lady, and I'm so relieved you are getting the vaccine quickly. It will make such a difference, I'm sure. Even better that you don't have to go into town for it - your local surgery is doing a good job.

I hope your DD has recovered from the shock of finding her neighbour like she did, and the neighbour's family are coping ok.

                                Sending hugs. xx
