Plant - Eva loves most people. Other people (like Oma) she adores. I've no confidence that she'd ever identify a "wrong 'un".

When our lovely dog trainer did her home visit before agreeing to take Eva on, Eva fell asleep on her lap. Pam was laughing about it as she says she's more likely to have her doggy clients trying to rip her to shreds than cuddle her! She's a rubbish guard dog apart from having a very loud bark and being excitable and bouncy.

Re dogs and strangers : our Great Dane had a dislike to anyone in uniform. We had amurder near us years ago and a car similar to ours was seen in the vicinity. Two policemen came to the house and sat in the lounge. Zara lay at my feet and every time one of them moved slightly, she growled at him. Poor bloke, I bet he was relieved to get out of our house. She also took a dislike to one of OH's university friends( I didn't like him either) and used to lie and stare at him. She was also, dare I say it, racist! She'd bark at coloured people. Quite embarrassing at times. However, her good side was that she was quite a deterrent if some dodgy person came to the door. Zara appearing at my heels put them off quite quickly.

Must be the season for rashes, OH has one on his forearms. The cream he got from GP seems to be helping though. Hope everyone else's clears up soon. My psoriasis is playing me up again, but I know that I'm stressed at the moment and it'll go when things are calmer here.

Just done my Yoga and am feeling energised, maybe even enough to tackle the ironing. Maybe not!!

No rain here yet, but the river is very high and the drainage ( ha!ha!) ditches around the village are almost overflowing. Hope no one is affected by the floods.

Hope all are well and that family members are well too.

      Stay safe ladies xx.

WeeGranny - you wouldn't want to be unpopular with a Great Dane. I can imagine the police were quite wary. When we had our Yorkies as puppies we took them to puppy class and the trainer encouraged us to bring in all sorts of costumes, hats etc. One chap even brought in a diving helmet, another a beekeeper's outfit. But it was very good for the puppies.

Well done on the Yoga. Don't waste that lovely energy on your ironing. I hope the river doesn't get any higher. We have trouble in the village with people not keeping their ditches clear, but there used to be one lady near us who was out tidying up her ditch nearly every day. She was quite a strange lady and all the children used to very rudely call her the Witch in the Ditch. She bought our previous house from us and I was on pins in case one of the boys used her nickname in her hearing.

Daisy we still laugh about Eva squeezing on the sofa next to me and very firmly pushing B off as he was in her spot

WG i remember the first time Storm seen a Black person , we had a workman come , he didnt come in the house he went up the alley way as he was doing the guttering ,
Storm stood at the window fascinated , he kept turning to us then turning back with wide eyes ,
I said to B this is embarrassing , if Storm had been Human he would have been standing with his mouth open and speechless

Glitter graphics seems to be ok now. I used Dazzle Junction this morning.

Had a bit of good news from sister in law in Wigan.
She had phone appointment with her consultant.
The small benign tumours on her lungs haven't grown and her bone density has improved.
She doesn't have another appointment till March. That is for a CTscan.

That is good news about your sister-in-law Nanto. What on earth is Dazzle Junction.

Just been in to have a peep at the baby, I remarked I haven't held her yet, her daddy said we will bring her in for a hold when she is awake and crying.

Nanto - I'm glad your in laws are ok. It's always a bit of a worry when accidents happen. Has mum got to go back to the hospital with her hand? What good news about your sister-in-law, especially at the moment when everything seems rather bleak.

Plant - I had to smile - you will have to work your Greatgranny magic and soothe Harriet back to sleep. xx

I'll have had to have a peek at Dazzle Junction.

Oma - poor B. We still laugh about that, too. She's a little madam isn't she!

You wouldn't think that animals would notice things like race and colour would you? They obviously do though!
I will look at Dazzle Junction.
Good news about your SIL Nan2.

Hi ladies such a busy couple of days here,my neighbour Jim didn't answer the back door on Sunday when I took his dinner and had me worried when I had not heard form him up to 7pm,I went to his front door and saw the light on so re-knocked and he answered telling me he was poorly and had been asleep all day and didn't want any food, not a problem I told him put it in fridge and see if you feel hungry tomorrow.
He was not seen on Monday so I had to call careline and get them to check no response at all so careline sent a warden to check on him,he just told her leave him alone and he was going back to bed.
Today with no answer from the warden again the Police had to be called as he had received a unconclusive test result,he has certainly got the virus I am keeping well away and have not been near him but he wont go to hospital or have the Dr or Nurse call,he is so independent and thinks he is being a nusience to everyone poor man,but its too close to home for me as it is this week last year that my John was buried and I've been so tearful I can do without it all but worry about him.

Daisy Poppy's blood tests came back normal no sign of diabetes the vet just think she is showing her age a bit so am keeping an eye on her .

Gosh I wish the rain would stop it has poured for 24hrs none stop .
                      Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

as long as someone is checking on him .
Nice to hear nothing serious with Poppy , I suppose its like us as we get older things stop working as well .xx
