We're off to DS2's first thing - he thinks we're collecting Cooper for the day, but in addition we're building his birthday present first! My baby's 46 today. I'll write about it later, but need to get a move on now.

It is a lovely morning, there has been a frost but no wind so I will hoover through and have my ride out.

I have cleaned my railings, as, my neighbour feeds the pigeons and they use our balconies as toilets!!!!!!!

Been to Iceland and B&M very quiet this time of the day , still a nip in the air but in the sunshine its lovely .

How nice of you Oma thinking about me. I have atrial fibrulation which is controlled by a tablet which I take twice a day. I still have the occasional fibrulation (which can last for several days) so the device, which is very small registers when the attacks take place. The hospital visit is to take a reading from it onto a sort of ticker tape machine. The device has now run out of battery, which they are happy with because they have three years recorded as to how effective the drug has been.

I did go bowling and much to my surprise, played quite well, I had a very good partner.

Daisy, I am dying to know what you are planning for your DS's birthday. Happy birthday to him.

Off shopping with GD1 to find something to wear to her GM's funeral on Monday, she is still carrying some baby weight.

My radiators are finished , took a couple days to dry fully and they stink when heating goes on but that will go , Its the perfect colour i wanted so I am pleased we tried it

That’s interesting, Plant, I wondered how it worked.

Lovely day here, very sunny but still a chilly breeze. Poor DD, the past few days she has been having problems with what she described as a “funny sensation” in her leg. I finally persuaded her to ring the doctors which she did yesterday and had an appointment this morning. She has just rung to say it could be shingles, which she has had before, but as there is no rash as yet the doctor couldn’t be 100% sure. She has been so stressed at work for so long which hasn’t helped. The doctor want to sign her off bUt she is concerned as they are short staffed. I’ve told Her, she has to think of herself so she is now waiting for a call from her manager to discuss.

Had a nice visit from my friend yesterday afternoon. We sat in the garden And it was lovely to chat and enjoy cakes and tea.
