Plant - I do hope your GD1 is feeling less sore this morning and has managed to get some sleep. I'm so glad daddy can visit her and his little DD even if it's not for long.

Oma - you'll be all stocked up with Aldi and Morrisons.

Gem - yes, driving in deep snow is no fun, and far better to avoid it if you can. At least, as you say, click and collect is a good reason for a trip out. I hope the roads are ok - take care.

No plans for us today (I think I've heard that before!). I'm just off for a shower and then see what the day brings.

I went to DS2 on Monday for lunch, he (they ) have done so well with the top floor, it isn't finished yet but he has got the floor done and the walls sprayed, he was saying his BIL has been there painting the woodwork every weekend since May, he has made a very good job as well. Something went wrong, as usual. We had an up-date last night, in full lock down to at least Feb. 9th and they were discussing a curfew.

Lizzie - what a fantastic job DS2 has made of their top floor. It looks very classy and expensive. I love that staircase! It must have doubled the size of their living areas. Do I remember you saying your DS wants to use it for a music studio?

Yes Daisy, he has done a good job, the painting is a charcoal work that DIL treated herself to! The staircase is smart, it is the first time I have seen it as it is as it was covered in cardboard, they had it to replace the old one and it is in a different place in the hall. He has the studio to do yet, it is behind the walk in closet, this photo you can see part of it. He will get that done when the bedroom etc is finished, that won't be long now. He was so proud to be showing me it all!!

Must do what I have been planning all week, that is to get the floors cleaned and and shake the feather thingy around.
I am going to put an update about GD and baby on Yeo.

Had my Morrisons order delivered this morning , we went through Amazon as you dont need to book a slot
we ordered yesterday afternoon and it came at 9.15 this morning.
Came in big Brown paper bags better than plastic carriers ,
Came by Courier rather than a van ,
So easy so will use Amazon again

It looks like I have some updates to read today. Hope they're all good. Lizzie your DS is very talented. Oma, can you explain a little more about ordering through Amazon please? Thanks. I've still got the remnants of a cold so cancelled my dentist today. Big hole in my tooth now. Hope they can fit me in soon.

Our lockdown is until mid February, but general opinion seems to be it could well really be until Easter time.

Nana if you go onto Amazon uk it has Morrisons on the top bar on the main page you just click on that and its like ordering from Asda or Sainsburys etc

I went for a bike ride, took egg boxes back to my veg man but he wasn't there, on my way home I met GD1, she often goes out on her bike after her school work has finished. We then cycled to the crematorium together, cheerful!!! I told her I would go with her one day so we had a walk round. She showed me a picture she has drawn for school, she got 9,5 for it.

We went to The Range this afternoon. DD had been and told me it felt safe. I just wanted to get out and it was too miserable for a walk. We had a browse and bought a few things.
