Having a job to load GRus, I am thinking it is probably my old and tired laptop. Oma, pleased to hear the back is feeling a bit better, take it slowly. Frost first thing but it is lovely and sunny, Sil says we are in for a couple of days like this. Daisy, you have picked some fine weather to get the roof fixed. Have an enjoyable Cooper day. Gemini, hope the Brownie cooking went well, I am sure you and GS were the stars. Lizzie, have a lovely bike ride, I expect the cyclists will be out around here. Grauntie, you sound very relieved that the knitting machine has found a good home. Keep digging that manure in the roses will love it. what sort of roses are you planning to plant? I am going to open up the sunroom to give it an airing.

Plant - I can't offer any advice about why you had trouble posting today, but I'm sorry! I hope it's all ok now.
It's been a bit quiet on here today, so I hope other members aren't having problems. If you are having problems and are also on the FB GS group could you let us know, please?
We've had a nice sunny day after a frosty start, but it's gone chilly again now."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning everyone.
We have lots of purple crocuses in our back garden at the moment Nan2, lovely to see. I didn't have forum problems either, but didn't check in much as it was GC day. I hope everyone can get on easily today.
A beautiful sunny morning here. I am going out! I am meeting DD3 in a park in town for a walk. She is kindly coming via the bakers and buying us pastries and bringing a flask of coffee for us both. We will sit at either ends of bench, eat breakfast and catch up. OH is meeting a friend for a walk later.
I have a lot of online bits to do today, so I will be doing those this afternoon. This evening a video call with friends to discuss our options for the canal boat holiday. I will update about that on the thread.

Good morning, it looks like it will be another lovely day. Yesterday was glorious, really sunny and warm in the morning. I spent a while tidying up the garden, sweeping up leaves, sorting our pots etc. Even had my coffee out there sitting in the sun, what a difference it makes. After lunch made plans for a new crochet project and ordered the wool. DGD mentioned that she liked the idea of temperature blanket, where you crochet or knit one row a day in a colour picked in accordance with the temperature, so I though I’d make her one for her next birthday in February. It will be a nice long term project. Had a lovely long phone call from my friend, we can’t wait until we can meet up for coffee in our gardens again, won’t be long now.
Lovely and sunny here, so will potter a bit more outside before I go over to DDs for coffee. Have a lovely day everyone 🌞"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Good Saturday morning to you, Nanto, Gem and all who follow. The crocuses are so pretty.
We've had overnight frost again, but the sun's shining now.
Nanto glad you didn't have problems. I think we'll have to put it down to 'one of those things' and I hope everyone can come and chat today.
Gem - how lovely having a breakfast picnic with DD3. OH will enjoy her walk, too I'm sure. It does lift the spirits.
I'm going to try and discipline myself to concentrate on housework today - boring, I know, but Eva's moulting and there's dog hair everywhere! I've got a load of washing in with about 4 more lined up waiting. If this sun continues I might even be able to put it out to dry, which would be lovely!
Have a good Saturday everyone and if you've nothing special planned remember to give yourself a little treat - you deserve it. xx

Plant - I don't know what that message means, and I've Googled it but still drawn a blank. The only thing I can suggest - if you normally stay logged in to your GRU account, try logging out and going back in.
Enfys - our posts crossed. It really is a beautiful day here isn't it! Getting out and potting in the garden does you good, and it's nice to see things tidied up. I love the idea for the temperature blanket! What a great long-term project. Do you decide on colours for different weathers when you start or is it more spontaneous - "it feels like a golden yellow day today" sort of thing?
Oma - lovely warm croissants for breakfast - yummy. Is your DD letting you do your early morning shops now? Sensible decision not to strain your back again. Under the sink will wait! Take care.

Daisy, yes, you plan certain colours for a range of temperatures. So I have picked 12 colours for a temperature range from -0 up to +30. Change colour every 3 degrees. So I have started with silver grey, going through blues, greens then onto pinks for the warmer weather."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss
