Had a chat with Brother he's not good said he's really scared . Has no strength to hold himself up so can't walk , Had a few tears said he feels disabled and afraid he won't walk again , if anyone knows my brother they know pain is not something he complains about but he said it's agony . He didn't have a good night at one point he thought he was dying . Slept 6 hours during the day he was so exhausted . Breathing seems worse to me
Had to reassure him a lot .it's awful he can't have visitors or I would be there in a heart beat even if it was just holding his hand
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, how awful for you all. I do hope they find out what is wrong with him and that he can get better.

Lizzie as far as we know it's a bug attacking his heart and joints but it changes every Dr he sees

Oma, your poor brother. I do hope he starts to feel better soon - he's still on antibiotics, isn't he? It's frustrating and worrying when doctors don't agree on what's wrong, but your brother is strong and will fight this infection off. It's worse not being able to go and see him. xxx

Well done on getting your photos sorted out. Yes, I did suggest using pencil, as biro can smudge and also offset on the the photo below it. Keeping them in a good album is the safest way to store them. All mine are stored like that - haha I wish! I quite like photo boxes though - they're easy to use and it's easy to take one out if you want to have it copied for any reason.

Enfys - I hope P has taken it easy today and his back is a bit less painful.

Gem - hope you enjoyed Phantom tonight. When I saw it on stage I thought it was a bit scary - but I'm a wimp!

Oma, I do hope they soon find out what is really going on with your brother.

On the subject of photo albums, when my hubby was ill, 19 years ago, I sorted all the boys photo's out and made them both a personal album, I even got photo's off the slides I had of them so they were very surprised when they received the albums. Over the years I have sorted the rest of the photo's out, last year I sorted 6 albums and made one of them, so many photo's over the years of views, snow etc etc so now they are all sorted out. I also have albums for the GD's over the years.

Good morning Nan2, Lizzie and all who follow.

Keep strong Oma, I hope there is better news about your brother soon.
Not sure what our plans are today.
Go with the flow, as they say!
                  Take care everyone.

Good morning one and all. Thanks for the coffee in the graphic, Nanto.

Lizzie - well done for sorting out your photos and making sure the family all got some. When my MIL died her two daughters sorted out all her photos and gave us back the ones we'd sent to her. What we would have loved to have would be photos of the rest of the family, but it sounded too ungrateful to say anything.

Oma - I hope you get some good news today and your brother's turned the corner. xxx

Gem, we're the same. No plans, but I ought to do a bit more housework because the weather's due to pick up in the week and I shall want to spend my time outside.

I hope everyone is ok. I've just had a look at Nana's new brain teaser - songs of the 80s - I could see a couple straight away, but lots more to ponder on.

Is anyone else finding they're doing more puzzles, cross words etc? I certainly am.

Oma, hope their is some good news about your brother today.

Gemini, so unusual for you to say not sure what your plans are for today, your days are usually defined by your family.

I don't do puzzles, only on-line Scrabble and Word Chums and I dislike quizzes. Will have a look at Nana's new brain teaser.

I do more puzzles and quizzes. A group of friends do a music quiz on What'sApp on Monday nights.
As a family we have done some very funny quizzes on Houseparty app. Half the time none of us know what we are doing, or if we win how we have!
I have signed up for few live online FB quizzes which friends have invited me to, not not been online at the right time to do them so far.
Off to look at Nanas new one.

                          Morning ladies .
i have always been a lover of puzzle books I buy at least 2/3 a month . I don't buy magazines so puzzle books are my luxury

It's a odd time isn't it not knowing what to do or what day it is . We may be in for many more weeks of it too .
                          Take care everyone keep smiling

Nanto - I was wondering too. I hope he's making progress.

Oma - I've always got at least one book of crosswords on the go. I try and choose ones that don't have too many questions about films or sport though!

Plant - I like quizzes, even though they usually prove what I already know - and that's my general knowledge isn't great!

Gem - it must be strange to have 'free' days when usually you have something on most days. x
