Enfys I am thinking of you and P today


I went with OH to collect his repeat prescriptions this morning, in the pouring rain I must add. He donned on a face mask and went into the pharmacy to collect it . He is getting more adventurous as the weeks go by.


Tomorrow I may well be AWOL as Openreach will be here installing our new 'smart hub' . If the time it took to install the neighbours hub is anything to go by I think it may be a very long morning tomorrow

Mimi - I hope Open Reach get your shiny new smart hub up and running quickly. Fingers crossed! Well done to your OH. Mine is getting more adventurous too. I have still to brave going into a shop, although I don't see the point until I actually need to shop for something!

It seems as though most of us have had a cold, wet and miserable day. I was quite cross with a lunch-time weather report showing our area as being dry when the rain was pouring down as though someone was up there with a lot of bit buckets of water, and it was so dark we had the light on, and had even lit the wood burner!

Not much on today. At midday I have Skype meeting. A Best Interest meeting about my sister. I am glad it is a video meeting as it is an hours round drive for me usually, when face to face meetings were allowed. However I have loaded Skpe to my laptop for this, so I hope it all works! I had a test chat with DD3 at the weekend which was good, so I just hope the meeting connects for me!

Knitting going well Oma but it is taking far more wool than stated in the pattern, I think it will fit him when he is about five.

I am waiting for a friend to come and collect some plums. I could cry when I look at the Victoria tree with so many branches broken with the weight of the plums.

Not much happening in the Daisy domain. It's been a funny (odd) day. I keep wondering how Enfys and P are and hoping she managed to sleep last night. I keep thinking of Tizzy, and at the other extreme, it's my GS1's 17th birthday. He's beyond excited - he's had a new phone, and tomorrow has his first driving lesson. Today he's had a friend over for the day - not sure whether she's his 'girl friend' or a friend who happens to be a girl, but if it's the one I've met she's a sweet heart. there's also a surprise arranged for him this evening, which he doesn't know about yet.
