Yes Plant Sepsis Arthritis . He had a heart scan today they have discovered he has Endocarditis too
Its inflammation of the Heart lining caused by the Sepsis .
It's quite serious and can damage the heart valves .

As he was put on Antibiotics quickly they hope it's not lasting damage
He doesn't do things by half

Oma - I'm glad they've worked out what's wrong with your brother, and thankfully they started antibiotics straight away to minimise any damage. Poor chap, though, he must be feeling proper poorly.

Nanto I like Moneymaker - but none of mine have germinated this year. All the mail order companies have either sold out of seeds and plants or have such long waiting lists it's not worth bothering!

Plant - you've had a busy day too. Our apple blossom has come out all at once - I'll post a photo later.

          Wow, all those clean windows!

Nana - I think we're all the same, worrying about Clover and wondering how things are going. there's so much to do, and it must be 100 times harder in the current situation, as well as coping with grief. Clover - if you're looking in, sending you love and hugs. xxx

Never quite sure what causes sepsis, my sister had it in her wrist some years ago. I presume it is an infection. I hope your brother improves soon Oma, not a good time to be in hospital.

Oma, I'm presuming his Coronavirus test was a negative. That's good news. Poor fella must be feeling really poorly tho'. I hope his meds are working & he's back home soon.

Plant, I admire you, you always manage to keep on the move. You put me to shame.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

Sunny day here again. We will probably spend time in the garden again working and relaxing.
We will have a walk around the village too.
Another 3 weeks of the lockdown conditions has been announced, which is no surprise.

I hope everyone and their loved ones are well.
                  Have a good day.

Good morning Nanto, Gem and everyone.

We've got slightly hazy sunshine this morning, but I'm sure it will warm up later.

Oma - I hope your brother has had a good night and the antibiotics are taking effect.

Gem - how is your mum? I think a day relaxing with no pressures is ideal after everything that's happened recently.

Nanto - lovely graphic, thank you.

Nana - I think you keep pretty busy as well as Plant.

Plant - how was your walk last night?

Wondering how everybody is - stay safe, grans.

So pleased your mum is doing well, Gem. Such a relief for all of you.

I have been thinking of you Enfys, and noticed you popping unto other threads. It's hard to join in chat when you don't feel up to it, and neither should you.
                          Take care xx

Good morning, a lovely morning here, I have been to the market in Delft on my bike for cheese etc, well set up to keep the 1,5mtr distances, it was early so wasn't busy. There are quite a few shops re-opening now and they are talking about the schools going back after the May holidays, how they plan to it we have yet to find out.

Oma, I do hope your brother full recovers and is soon home, a worrying time for all the family.
DS1 came yesterday and we sat out on the balcony for coffee, they were going to New York next week, he said everything was cancelled, the holiday to Brighton and London as well in August.

We haven't had any rain here for over a month, I saw a tractor and tank watering the young trees and shrubs this morning.

The tree pollen is bothering me, at least I hope it is that!

Lizzie, pleased to hear they are relaxing the restrictions in Holland, something for us to look forward to.

Daisy, my walk took all of 15 mins, just up the road round the corner and back. Our road goes straight into the woods and there were quite a few families coming out of the woods. One little girl trying out new skates in the road. I would love to go into the woods, there is a firm track they created for wheel chair users unfortunately at times it is used by off road motorbikes and they were in evidence yesterday roaring up and down. The police have been sent for many times but never seem to catch them. I noticed on the main road the cars are going so fast as there is an open road,

Gemini, hope the news of your mother is good.

Oma, I hope the news of your brother is good.

I agree with Jean Nana, you seem to keep busy.

Love to everyone and stay safe.

Enfys - It's always lovely to see you posting but we all understand how hard things are you at the moment. You're an amazingly strong lady and no wonder you have days when things are hard. This thread is always here for you to pop in whenever you feel like it. Sending warm hugs. xxx

Lizzie - I think tree tree pollen is early this year - here anyway. Every day when I clean our front door handles and letterbox the wipes are covered in yellow.
