Oh Gem better you than me trying to get stuff in his mouth . Does he fight or just curl up and growl ?

Plant I'm trying to find things to keep me busy

The rain is needed but I miss the sunny days even if you don't sit out in it you feel better when you see it don't you .

Gem you seen nothing like the wavy line I cut , I marked it out but couldn't keep my hand steady enough to follow it , I was like Mrs Overall from Acorn Antiques just needed the wrinkled stockings

Just had a nice hot shower now going to have a hot drink thinking about a hot chocolate for a change , I know how to party me

I've at last managed to read back over the last couple of days. I didn't realise how much I've missed, but I do hope all those feeling worried, poorly, and in pain find things are a bit better.

It's certainly been cooler today, but no rain for us.

We are living dangerously - sharing Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, cutting out wavy masks, making a pudding list, knitting - the thrills keep coming.

But tomorrow's another day. I really do hope everyone gets a good sleep will be feeling better in the morning. Night, night, sleep well. xxx

              Good morning everyone.
Nan2, a lovely graphic. It makes me want to go to a park. I would if we could find a nice one not full of people.
Oma, Henry seems a lot better thank you. We have now got the thyroid medicine, so we will have to try to get him to take it!! As it can't go into food, squirting it into his mouth is the only way.

GD and GS2 coming today. It is a fine day for now, so hopefully will be able to be outside most of the time. Looking forward to hearing all about GS's day at nursery!

Have a good day ladies. I hope all are well, including those who haven't posted for a while.

Good morning everyone. Nanto - when did you take that picture of my garden?

I hope your in laws are ok. Do they do better in this cooler weather?

Oma - years fly by. I hope all your memories of your mum are happy ones. xxx

I've been wondering about Henry, too. I hope he's more himself today.

Apart from taking Eva out, I've no plans for today. That's not the same as having no jobs to do - the list gets longer by the day and I never catch up. But nothing is more urgent than anything else, so I'll see how the day goes. OH needs to go to the post office today - it's our first time since lockdown, and a new shop in the village has now got a post office counter. We've been without one for nearly 12 months, so it's a welcome addition for us all. Otherwise it's a car ride to get to one.

We've got a supermarket delivery due 6.30-7.30, so that's our share of giddy excitement for today.

                See you later.

Have a lovely time with GD and GS2. xx

Gemini, I am pleased Henry seems to be a bit better. Enjoy your day with your GC. Not sure what to expect with the weather today, we are missing all the rain, it is dull and windy atm. Like you Daisy I have jobs in the house but I am quite good at putting things on a back burner. So if nothing more interesting comes along I will tackle the bathrooms
I have a click and collect at Waitrose on Sunday, DD will collect it, I will stay in the car. I am planning a trip to see GS3 and take his card today or tomorrow. I will just leave them on the front doorstep and wave to him. Like Oma, I will pop back later.

                      Good moaning each.
I have just been to my veg patch to pick my only ripe strawberry only to find the birds have beaten me to it. As there are many more to come I will spend part of my day fashioning a fruit cage of sorts. I could be unraveling string, sewing, knitting (finished the front only to find I will be 1/2 a ball short for the back 🤨) or doing something useful like.....reading or painting my toenails.
                      Have an interesting day ladies.

Intermittent rain and bright sunshine here, a weird day!
We managed a trip to the duck pond though, to feed the ducks and geese, and GD to practice some gymnastics

I went to sit in sunroom as it was lovely and sunny then it came over very dark and started pouring with rain so I was marooned with the cat, then the sunroom started a small drip from the ceiling and I had to wait for a break to get something to catch the drip in. I gathered the cat up and made a dash for indoors.

We had one very short heavy spell of rain, but the rest of the day has been mostly sunny and quite warm, even in the wind. I put a light shower proof jacket on to take Eva out and ending up having to tie it round my waist, it was so hot. Plant - I hope it wasn't a serious leak.

Oma - I think I will find it hard not to kiss our window cleaner when he turns up!

Grauntie - birds are very good at judging the perfect moment to eat fruit - and usually gobble up all of it before us mere humans get a look in. I'm intrigued by the prospect of you spending a day or so unravelling string. There must be a story behind this!

Gem - at least the ducks won't mind the rain. How is Henry tonight? xx
