Just spent a hilarious couple of hours having a family quiz by video .
Me &B ,DD SIL GS1 , SIL's parents and his Brother and Wife from London .
It was chaotic, and very funny .
Doing it again next week brightened our day

its a beautiful morning I'm going to get out with my spiked patio brush this morning and get some dead moss out of the block paving on the drive . I sprayed it last week and it's all brown now so easy to get rid of.
Might start painting the fence too . B can manage that a bit at a time so he will make a start

Oma - well done to you and B on winning the family quiz! Enjoy your gardening this morning.

I'm going to cut the lawn later. There's rain forecast for tomorrow - the first proper rain in several weeks - so it won't be frosty. I don't know what else yet, except Skyping with DS2 and family later on. We were going to do it last night, but both the GDs were tired and a bit cranky after a long day in the garden. I'm looking forward to 'seeing' them today though.

I hope everyone is ok and plodding on.

Yes we enjoyed the meal and drink thanks, and we watched the first 2 episodes of the new series Quiz, about the contestant who won a million pounds on Who Wants To be a Millionaire and was discovered to have cheated.

I think we may go over to my mums today. To check all is OK, get any post, and empty the fridge. It's her bin day on Friday and her neighbour will put it out for us if I leave it in front of the garage doors (its usually locked inside the garage) I want to sort a few more things to take to mum as well.

We may have a walk too.

I might watch Quiz on catch up. I remember the case - I saw the programme where he won and the suspicion that he'd cheated filled the newspapers for weeks.

Gemini, I hope the Anniversary celebration went well, very pleased you are able to have chats with your mother.

The window cleaner has just been, he rang yesterday and asked if it was okay for him to come. DD said yes please. Not sure what my plans will be for today. The fruit blossom is very heavy but I haven't seen many bees to pollinate them. I am having a problem with digger wasps making their nests in patches of bare soil. I fancy doing something crafty (the sewing sort) was feeling a bit bored yesterday so will see what I can managed to find. Problem is my sewing machine is in the only room that doesn't get sunshine until the evening.

Plant - how lovely that you window cleaner's been. Our windows are a disgrace, but I don't blame them for not coming.

I hope the bees are busy doing their work on your fruit trees. We have had lots of bees on the pulmonaria which self-seeds round the garden, but the apple blossom is only just coming out. Fingers crossed the bees get up there as well. Can you move your sewing machine into a sunnier room?

Our window cleaner came yesterday too . The day before he put a note through saying we could either pay him when this was all over or put it directly into his business account . We decided best to put into account that way we not in debt

Not much change in Brother . They have put splints on his wrists as he's finding them painful and can't use his phone much and gave him a zimmer frame to get him on his feet . Still on drips still awaiting results but he slept better last night xx

Our window cleaner came today, so he made an old lady happy.
Hubby got some tomato plants today,so that made an old man happy.

Managed to keep busy cleaning the outside of the windows at the back of the garage, it faces my kitchen and the window cleaner doesn't include them in his routine. I then washed the inside of the utility door, not that I use it, looks so much better, it is where the family kick off their muddy shoes. I did some deadheading and spent some time in with sunroom with my knitting and my audible book. Waitrose workers, the shed dwellers have just returned from work. I think I will now go for a walk, just up and down the road. It does cheer one up when the window cleaner comes, unless it rains.

Not sure what is happening about your brother, do they say he has sepsis?

Yes Nanto, I am wondering how Clover is getting on. What tomato plants did your OH buy

Didn't see much activity on the plum blossom which is nearly over, hope the bees did their job. Apple blossom almost out.
