No fancy graphic today.
Just out of respect for Clover and Gerald.
Bright sunshine this morning.
I have posted in the anniversaries for Avo.
Please don't think i'm being disrespectful to Clover.
We send anniversary greetings to all members,so i thought it only fair that Avo should have one.Last edited by Nanto2girls; 08-04-2020, 06:57 AM.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good morning Nan2, Lizzie and everyone else.
That's a beautiful photo Lizzie.
WG, yes I imagine its not all sweetness and light and fun with families of children confined together!
Today I will probably spend most of the day with my mum. I do so hope she will be up, although I hold out no hope for it. She is more engaged when she's up, watches some TV etc and it is so much easier to manage food, drinks and meds. OH and I cannot get her into any sort of sitting position in bed, try as the three of us may. It exhausts mum and causes her pain, and I am now dosed with Voltarol and painkillers for my very sore back. No one's fault, no fun for anyone, especially my poor mum. I will take some DVDs over in case she is up then we can watch a film.
Have a nice day everyone. It's a fine sunny one here and I hope it is for you.

Good morning, everyone.
My thoughts are also with Clover and her family. Clover - sending you love and hugs, dear. xxx
Gem - I do hope your mum will get up. As you say it makes her more engaged and probably tires her out more so she sleeps better. Please try and take care of your back. Not easy I know - it sounds as though you need a hoist or something to make it easier to lift her, and more comfortable for her. Has anybody got a portable DVD player you could borrow so if she can't get up she could watch a DVD in bed?
It's a bit dull and overcast here, but I think it will brighten up later even though there's no wind to shift the clouds.
I'll probably get on with gardening today - OH trimmed a Photinia yesterday and still has some clearing up to do, so the least I can do is keep him company and refuel regularly with tea and coffee. Sooner or later I'll have to tackle the pile of ironing. I think I'll make it "later".
Lizzie - that's a beautiful photo - I love the reflections and the way the sun's sitting on a sail of the windmill. It's kind of the photographer to let you use it.

Oma, good luck with the stair lift installation.
No wind today but overcast, I have jobs to do indoors like dusting and pushing the sucky thing around.
I hope Clover's family are with her now, she needs some support at this sad time.
Gemini, I am sure your mother will enjoy having your company. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Stair lift finally in . It will make life so much easier for him .
no mess the lads who fitted it kept the sitting room door closed were all kitted out with gloves and masks .
They stood outside to explain how it worked .
When they went I cleaned every inch of it and the banisters with anti bac wipes and Dettol anti bac spray before I let B try it out .Im not fat just 6ft too small

Stair lifts are not the prettiest addition to a home but I had to choose practicality over style .
No doubt I will get used to it and I have to think of the future .Not only does he need it now but as we get older it will only better harder for him to get up the stairs .
He can manage a few stairs but struggles on a long staircase . Same he can walk a little with crutches but so slow and it's painful for him . So no matter what it looks like it's a necessityIm not fat just 6ft too small
