Hope your sister is soon on the mend Plant. Not the best way to find out though. The only way I found out my cousin's wife ( he was already dead) had died was when I checked their local paper. I hadn't received a birthday card from her and she always sent me one, found out she'd died about 6 months previously. Wouldn't have been so bad, but we (DB and myself) were the only cousins on the father's side. People don't seem to think about letting family know these days , probably because a lot of families are spread out all over the world and not in daily contact.
Turned very cold here now. Went into town earlier to pay a cheque into DS's account and had a wander round, but it was very busy. So did what we'd set out to do and came home to the warmth!
Oma, some days are better than others thank you! No word of an appointment for the memory clinic though.
Just finished a course of antibiotics...won't miss the taste they left in the mouth. Just hoping they've done their work now.
Enjoy the evening ladies whatever you're up to!xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

Sorry that you had to hear about your sister that way, Plant. How unkind. But hope your sister makes a good recovery.
Its been very cold here today and pouring with rain...but Spring will soon be here, the snowdrops are out and things are shooting up everywhere.
Sad end to the day for me. I have just heard that an old school friend sadly passed away a week ago. She had been ill for some while, Alzheimer’s, and I hadn’t seen her for ages. She was such a clever lady, an English teacher and a lovely person. RIP L 🌺"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Sorry to hear about your friend Enfys. Plant fancy no-one thinking to let you know. I would be fuming too. Re knitting... I'm going great guns but will leave tucking the ends in to you &/or your WI friends. A job I hate.😉
Tomorrow it's our day for GS2 during the half term hols. He's a little love & no trouble at all."Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the spring , flowers Nan2
Enfys, I'm sorry about your friend. Sad news, she sounds a lovely lady.
GS day for me too Nana. The 7 year old today. He has been out every day since he broke up on Thursday so could probably do with a bit of a down day today. We are going to a Viking themed half term event at our library this afternoon, but will be staying in the rest of the day.

Good morning. After all the wind and rain it’s very calm here, hope it lasts. Lovely flowers Nan2.
Glad your sister is home Plant, hope she continues to do well.
Enjoy your Viking event Gem, sounds good.
We had a lovely lunch out yesterday and with the birthday voucher P had his meal free. An easy day here for us today, and DH has his Shed meeting this afternoon but I have no plans so just pottering.

I have just heard that the Viking event is cancelled due to not enough takers by Friday. This is a shame as it didn't say you had to prebook, so there could be several turning up today.
GS will happily stay in all day as he has had full days out for the last 5 days, and has a full day with his friends tomorrow.
DD wont want him attached to screens all day though so we will have to do something for a while at least! Unlike his cousins he is not into art, crafts or cooking, and it's cold and wet for anything outdoors. I think i pad and movies will take a lot of today!“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
