Well, I am back, as far as I know everything went okay, No plaster like last time, just lots of steri strips. I hope that is the last. I am having a long awaited cup of tea but I am going to treat myself to a G&T later for being a brave girl.

Gem I hope you have a lovely outing tonight. S must have been cooked out on a golf course.I find it too hot to even go for a walk for half an hour on our golf course.
Thinking of Daisy and Enfys.

Sun is up now,and its still very warm.
Nipping through to Wakefield this morning,to pick up hubby's new phone.
Plant, hope you enjoyed your G&T.Pleased that procedure is over for you.
Hope Enfys and Daisy and family are taking care of themselves.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Had a G&T with DD and Sil yesterday evening, we sat on their terrace and when the rain started we moved the chairs under a gazebo, we stayed there until there was an enormous clap of thunder with lightning thrown in for good measure, we then moved in doors.
Unfortunately the wound on my temple bled in the night and I now have a blooded dressing, I am going to give the nurses a ring later to ask if I can take the dressing off and put another on. I am not a good sight and I am joining a few of my WI ladies for a coffee this morning. Looks like we are in for another hot one.
I was asleep at that time Oma, sorry you were not. Did you get to the Metro centre?
Will pop back later to see if there is any news from Daisy. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good morning, I keep losing posts on here, I am sure I posted earlier on! I have the GD's here, too warm to be out and about, we did go on our bikes to the village yesterday and GD1 managed to get her hair trimmed, she has such long, thick curly hair! They have just woken so will get breakfast, I have already done the shopping. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Good morning ladies.
Nan2 I don't think we can have had a thunderstorm here as we slept with all the windows open and didn't hear anything. I can see it has rained though.
Plant, I hope you have lovely time with the WI friends. They will be glad to see you even bandaged up!
C has lovely thick hair Lizzie, hot in this weather! One of the few pluses of getting older is my very thick hair is less thick!
I hope you get to the Metro Centre today Oma.
Today is prepare the spare room for the cat sitter day. Well of course it won't take all day, but that is my task for today. We go away from Saturday until Tuesday and she will arrive on Saturday afternoon.
Take care everyone. Sending love to Enfys and hoping there is some news for Daisy DS and that he can go home soon.

Just popping on quickly to say thank you to Gem (and Sue), for the lovely card to to Oma also for the ecard. Everyone has been so kind and I am slowly working my way through everything that needs to be done. DD has been marvellous, I don’t know how I would have coped without her and DS, bless him, is in constant contact too. He was devastated that he couldn’t come home, but unfortunately although he can leave Australia he can’t get back in. DGD is arriving home on Sunday.
Thank you all for your your kind words, I feel very calm at the moment, knowing we made the right decision at the right time has helped enormously and we know that P was in exactly the right place for him. The care was fantastic. Thanks again."Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." - Dr Seuss

Family is everything at these times Enfys. How sad for your son that he can't get back. I'm glad your GD will be able to though.
It must make so much difference knowing P was cared for so well and in the right place. What P would want now is you to be OK, and you will be. Very early days and lots of ups and downs along the way, but you will. Several ladies here have been where you and and understand. Take care xxx“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
