Missy, how lovely to hear about your life in Australia. Your garden sounds amazing - I’d love to see photos. Your holiday industry must have suffered really badly. My friend in Perth was saying she had a few days up north recently.. it was about 30C and sunny, but she was saying they’re not allowed out of WA unless there is a very specific reason for it, so no flying over to Sydney or Melbourne for a few days. But she was saying life is almost normal as far as Coronavirus is concerned.

Mimi, I get a lot of pain in my hands and wrists, especially my thumbs and it makes is hard to hold things sometimes, especially things like hot kettles. Do take care. I’m sorry to hear the family troubles are still with you. I hope things improve soon.

I don’t know what planet I live on - could someone tell me what a corned beef plate pie is please, because it sounds delicious.

Oh dear. I thought I’d got a bit of time, but someone’s at the door and DIL is on the phone,

Good morning Nan2, I echo those sentiments.
                  Good morning everyone.

Today is a busy one. Sainsbury's delivery coming this afternoon. I also have to pack for our little break tomorrow, including all the food etc we will take to the pod. Today's other task is to leave the house clean and tidy for the catsitter! The fridge definitely needs a makeover! OH brought some gorgeous blackberries from my mums garden the other day, so those are to be made into a crumble today with a couple of apples from our tree, and will go with us tomorrow. We plan to eat out one night, we will cater one night and our friends the other, so the crumble will be the pud on our night.

We had some news about garden visits for my mum, so I hope to see her next week. I will update on her thread.

                  Wishing everyone a positive Friday.

Oh, such good news about C's tumour Oma I bet the visit really perked you and B up.
Our friends arranged to meet us on the way to the pods, so we can travel in convoy and stop for lunch on the way. They said 10.15. That's like 6 am in your world. I am going to suggest no earlier than 10.30!

Oma, that was a nice surprise to have a visit from Martin and Clare. Not surprised you are still feeling very sad about your brother's death, he sounded like the last person you would expect to die from the virus and very sadly missed by so many people.

I had a visit from a slightly wet cat on my bed at 7am this morning. I had left a window open and being in a bungalow I don't do that, I must have missed it when shutting up for the night. We had a noisy storm when I went to bed and we have had a good drop of rain by the looks of it. I am going to the hospital pharmacy to pick up some tablets this morning and will pick up some veg and eggs as I need to make a banana cake. I made 8 pittas yesterday afternoon, six are in the freezer. The Victoria plums are beginning to ripen, I am pleased to report that no purple plums were wasted and they are finished now. My car has now been serviced and I am £350 lighter. I have only done just over 4,000 miles but a warning light said the oil and filters needed changing. It is still under guarantee so I felt it was better to take it back to the dealers, next time I will use a local garage, might be a bit cheaper.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Daisy, you have me thinking.......I need to take some photos to share on here, not that things are dreadfully interesting at my place, lol, worst looking time in the garden really but in spring, when all is leafed up and flowering, I must share 😊

No work today, well, no paid work 😁. Gave away my electric treadmill to some disgustingly fit lady who RUNS for FUN!!!! Go figure! She was very nice and wanted to give me a bottle of wine because I didn't want payment, I managed to resist, after looking at her slim legs and unfat figure 🤣🤣🤣 I had to go in and eat a couple of biscuits with my coffee to feel better 😁😁😁.

10pm, time for me to shuffle off and fight for space in the bed with DH and 2 cats 🙄, take care, be kind to yourselves ladies and have a lovely day everyone xxx
