Enfys early days but you know P as you say was in the best place and passed with peace and dignity ,
Your DS must be in turmoil but he can’t chance not getting back to his family if he comes home , I’m sure if your DD wasn’t hear he would think again , Plus let’s face it there isn’t much he can do is there ,it’s the Horrible times we are living in .
Extra hugs to your GD I bet .

Just taking a few minutes to read back on here. Oma, good news about the biopsy - I do hope all the benefits happen quickly for you.
plant, I bet you’re glad that little op is over and done with.
Enfys, I’m so sorry I haven’t been around for you xxx. You are always in my thoughts and prayers though.
I’ve read all the posts but it’s difficult to comment on all of them and my thought processes aren’t great at the moment.
Its 34C here in Sandhurst, and we can’t go in the house out of the sun because the downstairs flooring is being laid. We’re just sitting around trying to find shade. 😨"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

‘Allo.
I’ve just had a catch up.
Enfys, I was so sad to read your news. I am thinking about you.
Daisy I hope your son has answers very soon.
Mega hot here again.I really cannot cope with the heat outside. Yesterday we went to Hyde Hall and met up with friends there. That was hot hot hot of course, but good to see friends, under a shady tree, and in the flesh!
I have achieved absolutely nothing yet today. I think I’ll carry on with that!

Enfys, we are all thinking about you.
Daisy,thinking of you as well.
Oma, it wasn't a shopping trip as such,we only went to pick his new phone up.
I've spent the morning setting it all up for him.
I envy all of you with OH's who are techy, he's good at DIY though.
Very warm here again.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Morning all.
Oma it’s kind of you to think about those of us who have suffered bereavements but we mustn’t forget you lost your dear brother as well.
Enfys I’m so glad you are feeling calm and having no regrets about the decisions you made about P.Your DS must feel awful he can’t come over. This bl....y virus has so much to answer for.🙁
I have been drifting along, getting up and going to bed and somehow filling the time between.Being physically on my own for so long isn’t easy.
Hopefully I’ll have company of some sort in a week or so as DD and family are coming down. Due to everything that’s going on they can’t stay with me so are renting a house in nearby Mumbles so at least I’ll be able to see them in the flesh.
Planning to make a cake this morning. and perhaps a corned beef plate pie.
Thunder in in the night and overcast this morning though still pretty warm.
Have ve a good day friends

Good morning all.
I like the waving teddies Nan2
That reminds me Oma, I need to go to Boots opticians. Since before lockdown my distance glasses are so loose that if I look down when wearing them they fall off!
Clover, you are right about Oma's loss, and Glamma's is still very new too. You are all doing amazingly well xx
Is it against the rules to have visitors to stay in Wales? It will be lovely to see your family, even if they can't stay with you.
I have GD to myself today! GS is at nursery, and they are going away for a few days tomorrow which is my regular day to have them here.
We are going to Rodgers furniture store!!! Strangely she rates this as one of her favourites. Having never been with her I'm not sure why. They have lovely tea rooms however, where we will have lunch. I think a trip to The Range which is close by, will be in order too, to look at all the art and craft things. Better take my card!
A friend we haven't seen for a while may call in this evening if she doesn't finish work too late (hospital)
Take care everyone. Have good day. Really hoping for some positive answers for Daisy and WG's families.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Enjoy your day with your GD Gemini, a girly day is planned I see.
GRus has certainly been hit with a lot of sadness and worried members in the past year, I do hope your son Daisy has some good news soon and WG too, Is your Sil in Stoke Mandeville WG?
My car is in for a service today so I am housebound. DD brought me back from the garage, she had to wake me I was fast asleep at 8.15, didn't have a good night. I might amuse myself with some cooking but there again I might not. After the storm yesterday evening, it was still spitting this morning but now the sun is out but a nice breeze. I have a lovely black eye now, I am longing to soak the dressing off tomorrow when I wash my hair, then I have to apply vaseline to help it to heal and not leave bad scar. The stitches this time are dissolving ones.
Keep safe everyone, love and hugs to all the sad and worried members and their loved ones.Last edited by Plantaholic; 13-08-2020, 09:41 AM.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Good Moaning each!
We are forecast storms all day here but it is glorious sunshine at the mo. OH is golfing today so I shall muck out the study. The dust level is embarrassing.
I know what will happen though, I will look at my sewing machine, it will call me and the duster will pale into insignificance.
Clover, I yearn for a corned beef plate pie. To my shame I can even ruin readymade pastry. I will do something with chicken breasts instead.
Oma, what time did you get up? How nice to have been out and back so early!
Waiting to hear from DD2, GC4 had a nasty bite on his leg 10 days ago. It’s big and angry. She has had a FaceTime Drs appointment and he has had two lots of antibiotics but nothing has changed. He is well in himself though. Dr is ringing again today. I think he needs to have it looked at properly.
Moving on, duster in hand.......

Good morning everyone (Good evening for me as it's 7.30 pm)
Thinking of Enfys and Daisy today
Enfys, so sorry to see that your DS can't be with you at this difficult time for you all xxx
Daisy, I'm hopeful the Drs can make progress, that you will soon know what is going on and good news will be there xxx glad you got in a sneaky hug!
Hope everyone else is doing well and coping with the heat you are experiencing over there. We have had a warmer than usual winter, dreadful ski season, almost no snow and the virus lockdown have hit the hospitality industry hard around here. I have had hardly any work but I'm receiving our federal government's jobkeeper payment which actually gives me what I normally earn in a winter season so I'm very fortunate that I met the qualifications and that my boss joined me up.
I'm looking forward to Spring now, I will be planting my 40th rose plant late this month, lol, so our garden, which was almost empty when we moved here off the farm 4 years ago, is almost full of fruit trees, Australian native plants, veg garden, and lots of cottage garden plants. Keeps me busy, easier than chasing cows around was, smells better too, lol.
Well goodnight ladies, stay safe and well, thinking of everyone doing it hard right now, much love to you all xxxxx

Enfys you are in my thoughts. X
Daisy you are also in my thoughts. X
Sending love and hugs to all our beautiful ladies x
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
