We are having a lot of problems with our Internet connection, we have a router in the loft that needs replacing, one is on its way. This is my 8th attempt to get connected, so if you do not hear from me do not worry.

Lovely and sunny here, no plans for today, I need to go to B&Q to return an item. Might be quiet today. Family had a BBQ yesterday so we saw the GGC again. GD1 and her partner had a disappointment yesterday, they want to buy a shared ownership flat and had found one they liked but there were 7 other couples wanting it and although they have their mortgage all set up, they were not able to have the flat. There are several flats around for shared ownership but
there are many people wanting to buy them.

Oma enjoy your day of rest. I had one of your nights last night, I awoke at 4.30 and couldn't get off again, I heard GD and her partner go off to work at 6am but must have dropped off and slept till 9.30.

Gemini, hope your reflexology helps your back, I think we could all do with a treatment, I feel so stiff without my Aqua.

I'm spending the day taking things easy as I am suffering from a water infection again it always happens when I am due a botox top-up but that has been cancelled for August and don't know when it will be done now just have to wait and see,so I have emailed my Drs Surgery and asked for prescription and pain killers which they may deliver to-day.
I told you all last week about my *fly* problem its all sorted now my friends husband (my Johns best friend) came and filled the hole for me with sealer and then I got a phone call from my friend to say he had been taken into Hospital to undergo a tripel heart bypass he will have it today at Broadgreen Hospital in Liverpool its quite a shock as he looked so well when he was here on Monday everything seems to be bad news this year doesn't it.
Gems do you think reflexolgy would help me with my constant pain from my broken shoulder joint might it be worthwhile trying it after all this time ?

Glamma, I would certainly give reflexology a try if I were you. It helps all your body systems including your immune system. Your therapist will take a record of all of your conditions, medications etc and tailor your treatment accordingly. It's not a miracle cure (or I would be a rich lady!) but it helps your body to heal and repair. And, it so so pleasurable and relaxing, you deserve to treat yourself to it

A pity about the flat for your GD Plant.

                Gem, hope the reflexology helps.

Glamma, hope your friend makes a speedy recovery.

Plant, thanks for warning us not to worry,if we don't hear from you.

After a lovey sunny and warm morning, its turned cloudy and cool.

All downstairs was cleaned top to bottom this morning, and washing done,so i'm not doing anything else today.

Good afternoon everyone. And what a lovely sunny one it is.

Plant - I feel for you over your dodgy internet connection. I hope it's soon fixed. Your GD and her partner must be very disappointed about the flat, so fingers crossed to the next one. Does it help that they are expecting a baby?

Gem - I hope you're floating on air after your reflexology treatment this morning, and enjoying a nice afternoon with your friend. How is she coping with the loss of her mum?

Glamm - poor you. That sounds horrible, but so many 'routine' treatments aren't taking place at the moment. I hope the hospitals soon catch up. What a shock about your friend needing major surgery so suddenly.

Nanto - I think I'd need to lie down in a dark room if I'd done all that.

Oma (I'll whisper so I don't disturb you from your book) It's wonderful to hear you say you're sitting down and reading. Yes, better times will come. xxx

I'm taking Eva on a group dog walk this evening - she missed last week because of her poorly paws, but will hopefully be ok tonight. It's mainly on grass, so should be quite gentle for her.

Daisy our friend is doing OK. Misses her mum of course and regrets that time they couldn't spend together at the end of her life due to Covid. She is compiling a diary with a different plant for each week of the year, to give to friends, in memory of her Mum, who loved plants. We had a lot of plant photos to look through and vote on today! She also took a few more photos in our garden. She was quite happy to have 7 weeks off teaching to devote to her art work and music

I hope Eva (and her paws) enjoy the walk tonight.

Phone quiz with friends tonight for us which I had forgotten about.

Gem - what a lovely memorial to your friend's mum. Your friend sounds like a multi-talented lady.

Thanks - Eva did enjoy her walk tonight - I've written about it in What I did Today. How did the quiz go?

It was fun Daisy 😊 One music round where you get a point for song and point for artist and 2 picture rounds. One about sweets and one logos. Neither OH or I ever win as we can't type fast enough on our phones!

Gem - I'd be the same. I can't type fast on my phone - or if I do it doesn't end up saying what I'd intended! Still, it sounds good fun and that's the main thing, especially at the moment.

Good morning, Nanto, and thank you for the shiny flower from your cheery little pal.

The sun's shining here, too. Sainsbury's delivery at lunch-time, other than that I've got lots of options - housework, washing, ironing, painting, lazing in the garden. I wonder which I'll end up doing!!!

                                Have a good day, ladies.
