I am finding it very chilly indoors. Just been around to my GS1's family to take a cardigan I had knitted for GGD and to show them a pattern to knit a winter jumper for GGS. GGS was so excited having someone indoors, he wanted to show me all over the house. They have had so much work done, a lot GS1 did himself. What they have done so far is very nice, he has learnt so many skills.
Nanto, it does feel so much better to get your hair done

Evening all
Some very excited little ones about,
I don’t know what came over me today but I flicked the fluffy pink thing ( I’m a bit of a rebel, no yellow for me !) round the bedrooms and even used the fluffy tickling stick in the corners Plus a good sucky up session everywhere upstairs. Tomorrow- downstairs
Unfortunately Finn is still in quite a lot of pain so has to stay in hospital another night. They have elevated his arm to try to reduce swelling and perhaps help his arm feel less painful.
It’s been rather overcast and dull here for most of the day but the sun has just popped out.
Have a good evening.

It would be fine for you to go to your GD's home or they yours. If it's more than one household meeting up though it's outside still.
I'm sure your DD will enjoy her birthday, and hopefully the weather will be a bit better tomorrow.
Plant - your GGS sounds a delightful little lad.
Nanto - I hope you do get warmer weather for the week-end. The forecast is better here as well.

Oma - it's lovely that GS1 can just call round like that and be sure of a welcome, to say nothing of goodies and lunch! What happened about his school uniform? (Sorry if you said and I've missed it.)"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

But you loved it really Oma
Clover these accidents happen so easily. My DD3 broke her wrist as a teenager, running home from the video shop with her best friend. They tripped, BF fell on DDs arm, it broke.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Clover - I'm sorry I didn't see your post earlier - they crossed and I didn't look back up the screen. Pink fluffy things sound very daring, you rebel, you! Poor Finn. I do feel sorry for him. I hope the pain eases off soon, but it does sound like major surgery, poor lad. Is his mum still staying with him? My DS2 had two operations two years apart (different things) when he was about Fin's age and I was able to stay there overnight, but with all the Covid restrictions I wondered if it was a no-no. I'm sure he'll need his mum, bless him. xx

Morning all.
Lizzie the sheep are a great eco friendly way of cutting the grass. I could do with just one in my back garden.😀
It’s actually not raining this morning . Hope we’re going to have a fine weekend.
Daisy, yes DD is staying overnight with Finn. She expected to be sent home but was told it was usual for parents to stay and the current situation made no difference. Of course no other visitors, so DD is sending SIL a list of things she needs and meeting him in the car park when he drops the stuff off .
I’ll be in touch later to see what’s happening with Finn today.
Today I’m giving the downstairs a shock by a bit of cleaning,or at least that’s my intention!
I’m also going to have a look at the instructions on an old colour printer that decided to play up months ago,. It was abandoned as G wasn’t up to looking at it and I really thought it had had its day. There’s nothing to lose.
The numbers of Covid cases in America is really concerning. It’s obviously an enormous country but the numbers are horrific
Have a good Friday.
