    Good moaning.
Busy ladies already...says she, sitting in her dressing gown drinking tea. At least I’m up.
Gardening again for me today. OH is having his ears syringed, hopefully we won’t have to have the t.v. so loud now.
Three out of the four GCs back to school today, one at home having ignored her homework, now in a panic. She has got until Monday. Her parents won’t be falling for the ‘yes, I’ve done it’ lark again.🙄
Dull but not cold at all here. I have just been out to admire a stray Morning Glory and was surprised at how warm it is!
    Have a good day ladies.

Rather a late 'good morning' from me. I didn't wake up until almost 9 am, but hadn't got to sleep until 1-ish. Eva, bless her wouldn't settle because she was waiting for OH to come home. I even took her bed to the bottom of the stairs thinking she might settle where she could see the front door, but she's a very determined dog!

Nanto - what a cheery exotic graphic for a very dull day, but as Grauntie says, it's actually very mild.

Enfys - I hope you soon get the results of the heart monitoring, it's good to have the doctor say there really isn't anything wrong. I'm sure you'll be delighted to see your GD properly at last.

Nanto and Oma - I have thought about cleaning the cloakroom tiles this morning, but thought doesn't always translate into action in the Daisy domain!!

Gem - I hope OH and the committee do well in the competition. It will be nice for GD and GS2 to have a sleepover before they go back to school.

Oma - I hope someone warns your MIL that you have had a bad night and if she doesn't absolutely adore the new tv stand she may well find she's wearing it as a necklace!

I'm determined to get my Domestic Goddess cloak on today and magic some order out of chaos! I can hear you all laughing - but the intention is there!

I have had a busy morning, wanted to charge my phone and it wouldn't work!!! Panic! I have no other phone so felt stranded! I though it would be the battery so got in touch with a young man I see at the gym and he gave me an address not far from here in the new area of Den Haag, now it starts! I decided on going on the bike but as it was raining I didn't take the navigation with me, got to where I thought it would be, I did have one quick look on the map before setting off, it wasn't where I expected it to be and by this time my phone was empty! I asked a few people but no one really knew, I did know it was in the "bird" area so cycled through the streets, I didn't realise that there were so many different birds. I decided to give up looking and head for home, then I saw a young postman, I asked him where the street was and he said he would ride along with me to show me the way, so kind of him. I found the shop and it wasn't the battery but the connection where the lead goes in to charge it. He said it would take 30 minutes and I could wait, which I did, when I left I asked the best way back to here and he said just turn right and you can't go wrong, then, I realised where I was, I was opposite the swimming pool I go to!!!! If I had looked longer at the map I would have seen where it was. Luckily it had stopped raining so had a nice ride home.

I didn't have any cash with me and couldn't pay on-line as the battery was too low! He said he would trust me to pay later, which I have done and mailed him to thank him.

My friend has been to the specialist, she has Polymyalgia rheumatica, probably caused by the immune therapy that she is having.

            Oh that sounds painful Lizzie.

You used your resources and found your way! Kind of the postman to cycle with you.

My friend has been in so much pain so I do hope the medicine she has now helps her.

I hope so too Lizzie. At least now she has a diagnosis they should be able to help her.

Lizzie clever you i would have been in a panic not knowing where i was ,

Gem its healed but still sore at the very edge where the last stitch was but getting better thanks

Took TV unit over and she loved it so no drama , still no curtains though so i told her to get the number for the curtains she liked in Wilco that was out of stock and i will look in our Wilco see if they have them ,
I was dreading taking unit out of box in case it was damaged and had to go back but it was fine , she did moan at first that it was 1 inch lower than her old one but once TV was on she saw it made no difference , she now wants the coffee table to match ,

We went back to Dunelm on way home but she will have to order one in

I lay on the bed after lunch and slept for a hour now i feel fuzzy headed , cant win

Oma - I'm so glad your MIL liked the TV stand and didn't send it back to get an extra inch put on it!

You must have needed that nap, but hopefully you'll have a better night tonight and get rid of the fuzzy head.

Lizzie - I'm glad to hear your friend has got a diagnosis and they can help her with the pain. You're very resourceful finding your way around, but what a nice kind postie to show you the way. I'm sure you're pleased your phone is ok, and you don't need a new one.

Grauntie - I bet there will be a lot of children who've treated the last 5 months as a holiday who are suddenly realising they've got stacks of work to do. My GS2 realised he needed to get on with it a month or so ago (after an online conversation with his class tutor!) but I don't know if he's caught up or not.

GD1 went back to school today. She was very quiet going in, and had been worrying about it for a few days. I'm sure she will be ok, but she's such a worrier.

Oma, it was strange not having a phone in my pocket for the maps! I don't panic, will get where I am going sometime and being on the electric bike is handy. I am not keen on Den Haag, I never have been and this new area is very built up. I am pleased your MIL is settled!

I lost my posting so will have a look again later.

I hate getting lost when I am driving, you were lucky to find a postman Lizzie. Hope your friend will be more comfortable now.

Another one here who got up late this morning and feel I haven't really woken up all day. It has been raining off and on so haven't poked my nose out. I did take the opportunity to clean the inside of the sitting room windows and door. I also cleaned the mirrors. I have been waiting all day for a doctor to phone to discuss this rash I have on my chest. I noticed yesterday that is in the shape of my seat belt so that must have caused it in some way. I think it is eczema and am treating it with epiderm I happen to have.

So pleased your Mil liked the TV stand Oma.

I was on my way home, annoyed, when I saw the postman.

It will be very difficult for the children to be back at school after so many months at home.

Enfys, hope the monitoring went OK.

Grauntie, not cold here, just showers most of the day. Dry tomorrow is the forecast.

Plant, I hope the doctor has been in touch.

I called to see the friend, still in so much pain, she has been prescribed Prednison for the pain. I advised her to find a physio with a warm pool for people with reuma, there is one where I got lost this morning.

Lizzie, do you remember many years ago (16 actually) when I was a new driver and dropped DD3 somewhere between York and Hull for a sleepover with friends? No sat nav, but we had the AA directions printed off. All well and good on the way , but coming home I was alone, no DD to help with directions! I felt panicked at first but gave myself a talking to. I remember feeling quite proud that I found my way back just by following signs with names of places I recognised!
