The weather got better as the day wore on here.

I was thinking about Tizzy too. It was just two days after my cousin died so suddenly and we were driving up to the hospital to do the things that had to be done when I saw the message about Tizzy on my phone. I remember just staring at my phone in total shock and disbelief. And as I stared at it it rang, and it was David's lifelong friend who was also very upset. I can't remember a word of the conversation we had. It was such a sad time.

Oma - hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow. xx

Good morning. So pleased we got the garden done yesterday.
No way would we have been able to it this morning.

          Good morning all.
Definitely not a gardening day Nan2.
Dull wet and rainy here too.

OH was to play golf again today. The other three have cried off, so it is cancelled. OH thinks they are wimps, and would play! It would be her third day in a row, so I think it's probably good she had a rest anyway.
GC will be here today. It will be the first day we are totally confined to indoors, although it's possible we may get out this afternoon I suppose. GD will mostly be upstairs with school work.

Whatever your plans and your weather conditions, I hope you have a nice day.

Good morning, still dry here, I have done my shopping, repaired the back light on the shopping bike, it was falling off. I will be going to Delft when they phone to pick the corner profile up for the skirting. Our gyms are open, we have to book a block, I have thought about it and think I will wait until September.

Good morning everyone. It's bright and sunny here, so I wish I could send some of the sunshine for all of you who are stuck indoors in the rain.

Nanto - that graphic made me smile - the GDs and I were singing this and dancing round their garden in the rain one day when we went over there. The girls loved it!

Lizzie - you must have had an early start, although I think you're an hour ahead of us, aren't you? It's probably best to wait until September to get back into the gym.

Gem - poor OH having her golf cancelled, but a day off is probably sensible. Is her wrist totally ok now? It sounds as though your GD is being very conscientious about her school work. bless her.

We're just waiting for the garage to come and pick up my car for its MOT. I could have taken it in and walked home, but OH booked it and he opted for the lazy option. He's not keen on walking if he doesn't have to!

I've got bedding in the wash and hope to get it dried outdoors, and while I was sorting out clothes yesterday I put out a pile that needed freshening up. So I think that's my main job for today!

OH has found a slot to play with three others, at 1.30! The forecast is better this afternoon.

Morning ladies it's dull again and forecast rain

Gem I'm sure you will find plenty to do with them and S is there to help today , she text me last night that was so sweet of her

Nanto at least that's a job you can forget about for a while , our garden is covered in leaves as is our drive but it's to wet and windy to do anything yet .

Lizzie I think your wise to wait see how this pans out first before going into likes of gyms xx

Last night we nipped up to the cash machine outside the garage and I had t sit in the car for 10 minutes while three men stood there chatting getting money out , no social distance no masks I said to B it's like it's not happening and everything back to normal wouldn't mind but two men were at least 70 so should have known better

Oma - I don't know why so many people are ignoring all the safety precautions. I'm reading more and more about the awful effects of Covid-19, even in people who haven't been ill enough to be hospitalised and were otherwise healthy.

Not sunny here Daisy, perhaps it is on its way to us. No plans today, I think it is going to be a knitting day. I am getting close to the end so I am getting anxious to finish it. I am not even showered and dressed yet. Local pubs opening their doors soon, I don't think we shall be visiting them yet.

Gemini, my OH gave up golf because it was taking over his life, before we met that was. His father was a keen golfer, he was a musician and most of his work was in the evening so he spent the day on the golf course. Hope S enjoys her game. Your GD is very good getting on with her school work.

Plant - we've had a mostly sunny day. The bit when it rained was about 20 minutes after I'd put two loads of washing out to dry!

We've got the heating in July.
Thank you for the comments for DS2 bithday.

Nanto - I nearly put our heating on a couple of days ago, but it's definitely warmer here now. I hope your DS2 has managed to celebrate his birthday.
