Windy here again, yesterday we had gusts and blew over one of my Bay trees which is in a very large heavy pot. GD and her partner invited me to go for a ride with them, I think they had cabin fever. I told them it was a bit early to be doing that, against the rules. It was very sweet of them. Being on holiday with nothing planned, they have been trying to book a day out and most of the Zoos etc are fully booked.

Very tempting to hug your family Oma, especially on your birthday

I hope the birthday BBQ goes okay Daisy and your son enjoys his birthday.

Love the graphic Nanto, so true of the weather we had yesterday and I think more of the same today.

Oma, I did get to the library and the toilets are open now! Someone cleaning them after each user. I haven't heard anymore about the neighbour.

              Bung ho Chappesses,
Jolly windy here, it kept me awake for most of the night because our side gate was banging. I did get up and put something heavy against it but it wasn’t enough. It’s a double gate, so not easy to make it solid. Added to that I have face ache, not sure if it’s tooth or sinus, so I’m a miserable old tart today.
I did pick some raspberries and strawberries and see I have 6 courgettes coming along nicely and a beetroot nearly ready. That cheered me up.

Off to admire the pile of ironing waiting for my attention, I will smile at it and glide on by.
Enjoy what’s left of today ladies.

Grauntie you are always so amusing. Hope you enjoy gliding past the ironing and I hope the face ache goes soon.

I have been in and out the sunroom like a yoyo all afternoon. It is sunny again atm but as soon as I settle in the sunroom with my knitting I know it will start to rain again.

Grauntie makes me laugh too Chappesses reminds me of one of my American friends who used to always call me Dudette!
I hope the face pain subsides, Grauntie.

My turn to cook so I'm going to start that. Talk to you later!

Had an unexpected invite to younger son’s today for a bbq, it was lovely (socially distanced) and a real treat.

Sunday night again! Where has the week gone? More to the point is how have I spent the time? Made a chocolate cherry loaf and did some weeding today,oh and coloured my hair. Not particularly fond of the colour but you can't see the grey!

Oma hope you've had a lovely day!

We've booked a break in August with the family. It's only down the Suffolk coast but 'm so looking forward to it. Hopefully DS will still be here too.Managed to find a place that accepts dogs and there are plenty of places to take him for walks in the area. Don't know what will be open for eating out,but a home delivery should keep us going and we can send GS up to the baker's for the morning croissants!

GS has a day at school tomorrow! Getting up will be a shock to the system I've no doubt!I

Hope all poorly people will soon be on the mend. Take care everyone. Night night x

It's lovely to have something to look forward to WG
That's what I have struggled with recently, the lack of being able to plan or have future things to look forward to.
