Oma, sorry to hear B is still unwell.

Oma - I'm sorry B still isn't feeling well. Sending love.

Enfys - what a good idea to use smaller plates, and it seems to have worked. I'm sure P feels better when he can manage to eat. I hope the new meds help with his breathing.

Clover - you really don't need any more roof problems. Is the leak in the same place or somewhere different? It will be great to see your DS, and something you really need at the moment.

Nanto - you can't beat home-grown sweet peas - I bet they smell lovely.

Plant - what sorts of flowers are you growing?

Mimi - your poor DD. It must be very frustrating having to stay so close to home, but my SIL has been pleased because they haven't been inundated with tourists - they've got a huge caravan site just yards from their house in North Wales and she is genuinely worried about a second wave of infections.

Gem - I think the weather is going to be more settled this coming week.

Grauntie - oh, how I sympathise! It feels as though so many days get hijacked by things I hadn't planned!

Morning early bird Nanto and everyone else who come later.

Oma I’m sorry to hear B is still not too well. It must be awful to feel nauseous all the time.A call to the clinic is a good idea.

Enfys I’m glad P enjoyed his meal. A small portion is a good idea ,he can always have “seconds” if he feels like it.

I enjoyed the visit from DS and his partner yesterday. They came earlier then originally planned so it was lucky I had some pizzas in the freezer and was able to feed them. The weather was sunny and warm so being in the garden was no problem. DS and I went for a walk while partner D stayed in the garden. Since she broke her toe she didn’t want to risk walking over rough ground although it’s nearly better. When we got back we chatted in the garden and watched the birds. It certainly was a change from my usual afternoon on my own.

My sweet peas seem rather slow this year but are growing well.

          Have a good Sunday ladies.xx

Morning everyone, trying to catch up on the posts, yet again! Clover, you would enjoy the visit from your DS and partner, that is what we need to keep sane!

Oma, I do hope your hubby is feeling better, the same for Enfys, such a worry.

Gem, I did read a post that you had been out visiting! Well done you!

I am going to DS2 soon, take my bike with me and have a ride in that area. I almost lost this post, pressed the wrong key.

Good morning from me - just a very quick one, because I'm being pestered by Eva who has just woken up and thinks her breakfast is long overdue!

The sun's shining, although it rained in the night. I'll be back a bit later. xx

                Good morning everyone.

I do hope both B and P are feeling better today.
Clover, it must have done you good spending time in the garden with family. I hope you do that again soon.
Lizzie, I hope you have a nice bike ride.
Roast chicken sounds a good choice Nan2. We were to have roast pork today but I forget to take it out of the freezer last night.

Wet and windy here but with sun peeping through!
We have no plans today, so will see how the day goes.

                Have a good Sunday everyone.

                  Morning ladies

Clover that sounds just what you needed I bet it brightened your day .

Lizzie I have done that pressed wrong key so annoying but at least you saved it

Gem weather is same here doesn't know what it wants to do . What will you have instead of Pork ? I've decided on a chicken salad .

Daisy she who must be obeyed must be fed

Nanto I do like a propper roast chicken always tastes better than just a chicken breast doesn't it .

Nothing to do today just pottered on and hoovered put clean bedding on and shower now now days my own not that it's going to be exactly exciting

DD came with Storm yesterday , he's become very clingy with her lately follows her everywhere and just wants to be near her .
I have told her she must leave him alone sometimes as it will be distressing when she goes back to work full time and J back at school in September . He has become used to at least one of them being in the house all day ,

SIL called in on way to shop , they officially open on 29th although they have never stopped in last 3weeks they so busy

Some carpets hard to get hold of though as warehouses not fully open yet so had to drive down to Wakefield on Friday to pick some up

Have a good day ladies I will pop back later xx

Oma, Storm sounds just like my GS1! It is going to be hard to tear him away from his mum. She has started to leave him with me in the garden for a few hours each week now, which is helping.
Not sure what we will have to eat!

Oma I hope the clinic will have some advice for you and B, can't be nice feeling sick and not eating for so long.

Small plate for P was a very good idea, a large plate of food is very off putting when you are not feeling well.

Fathers Day, DD has ordered lasagne from an Italian restaurant, Their eldest son is coming with his wife and the little ones. We will eat at one end of the terrace and they will eat at the big table under the umbrella if the sun is out, which it is promised. I have bought GGS a T shirt with Dinosaures on, he is made about them and can tell you all their names and what they eat.

Daisy, there were not many plants worth having so I have been sorting out the pots and removing pansies and bulbs and replacing them with petunias and nemesias. I have also taken the top soil off some pots and added fresh compost. The blue plant that I have like yours (still can't remember it's name) was getting very straggly so I cut it back, I hope that is right. I love it as it comes early and is a lovely shade of blue.

Clover, how lovely to have a visit from your DS and his partner, lifts your spirits.

Hellooooo all 😃😃😃 it's been so long since I've popped in. As our winter starts to bite a bit here, work has been busy. Long days up on Mt Buller, builder's cleans (yuk) in a large, new apartment complex, pre ski season cleans for regular clients, training some new staff a month late due to covid 19 🙄 I'm a little edgy about all the Melbourne people crowding up here soon, the virus has had a bit of a jump down there the last couple of days. We have been extremely blessed though in comparison to the UK, really don't want to see things get out of control over Winter. Have been doing a little garden tidying, 35 rose plants to prune but they won't drop their leaves for me yet 🙄 snails have eaten my primula and snapdragons seedlings 😠 and my veg garden is looking a little sad. Never mind, our Winter solstice today so although our coldest weather is still to come, the days will start to lengthen 😃🌈🌞 I hope everyone is doing as well as possible during these strange times and I'm going to try and make sure I log in regularly. It's 8pm here, going to have another glass of red and I may open a block of Lindt choc to go with it 😍 Cheers xxx
