I had forgotten that I am going with OH to drop her car at the garage to have the air conditioning fixed. We will do that now, then come back and breakfast in the garden.

Morning all.
Oma how is B . I haven't checked in for a day or two so I may have missed any updates
Is anyone in a rush to take advantage of the new lockdown rules . Although my hair is a very similar style as Boris Johnson's I am in no hurry to have it cut.
We do have to pick up our repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy within the next few days and that will be the first time we will have ventured that far . OH rang them this morning and they said when we arrive to give them a call and they will bring the medication to us.
We will leave it a day or two as we are hoping for the temperature to drop a little and , for me, the pollen count to lower .
Enfys how is P
Keep safe everyone
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Hello Mimi, I'm sure your hair is lovely
Don't get too hot biscuit making Plant. I have some rhubarb prepared to make crumble with, I think I will wait until this evening.
Oma, I bet Storm will be very excited!
It's hot! Washing drying on the line, I am typing in the shade on the patio. We have to go back for OH's car soon, but I think we will wait a bit and avoid the lunch time crush on the roads, now traffic is getting back to normal.

Plant - how did your biscuits turn out?
Oma - it sounds as though B is feeling a bit better, thank goodness. Yes, I bet Storm was excited and shattered. Does he cope ok with the heat, being a husky? Eva will push herself to stay out in the heat if there's a reason that good as far as she sees it. OH has been woodturning most of the day, and she can't go into the workshop then because of all the sawdust, plus he's likely to step on her, so she'll sit outside for ever. I had to bring her indoors and shut the door because she was so hot.
Gem you've had a lovely day in the garden, and nice to see your friend again.
Mimi, apart from having to fill the cars up, we've only been to out to pick up a prescription for OH - well he went, actually! He's got a dental check up booked for sometime in July. we're in no rush to do much else except see the family under the current restrictions.
Nanto - I hope the person in the delivery office is ok.
Off to watch the final of the Sewing Bee.

Good morning, there was an awful accident here in the apartment block last night, a man from the 3rd floor fell off the balcony, he is in his 80's with alzeimer, what actually happened I don't know but by the look of it he was folding a parasol , if he stood on something whilst his wife went inside I don't know but I could see the parasol etc had fallen onto the balcony. It was so sad to see, poor man, so many police etc and the helicopter landed in the park. He was concious when they took him in the ambulance so don't know how he is, his poor wife was distraught. In fact we all were. Their balcony railing is lower than ours is, with being on the 5th floor we have a higher railing. That was always my nightmare when the girls were young and here twice a week, I never had anything on the balcony that they could climb onto and never left them on their own outside.

Good morning Lizzie and Nanto.
Lizzie - what an awful accident. I do hope he's ok, poor man. I wonder why the architects of the building thought a lower balcony railing on the 3rd floor was ok - it's still a long way to fall.
Nanto - we will probably all be wishing for a shady tree by a lake today - it's going to be hot!
Amazing for me, but I woke up at 5.30 and decided to get up and do 'stuff'. I cleaned the kitchen, got some washing on and did some tidying up. I'll definitely need a siesta this afternoon!

Good morning all.
I love the graphic Nan2.
Lizzie, how awful! That poor man and his wife. I hope he is OK.
I can imagine how scared you were for the girls out there when they were small.
The main things I am happy about with the changed restrictions in July is the chance to see family or friends indoors, so not having to abandon plans due to bad weather. It also means we can see my auntie again.
Busy day today, and another hot one.
GC all day. GD will be upstairs in her ' schoolroom' for a lot of it. Apart from that I imagine we will be outside .
We have four friends coming to the garden this evening. This is the first group gathering we have hosted and we are looking forward to it.
Have a good day everyone and keep cool 😎“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

I hope the hospital visit is successful Oma and they can relieve the sickness B has been suffering with.
Love the graphic Nanto, would love a seat there today.
Lizzie, how awful, his poor wife must be distraught.
Gemini, I am sure your Auntie would love to see you soon. Enjoy your evening with friends in the garden.
Daisy, you are sounding like Oma again. Will you still wait for breakfast until 10 am. My garibaldi biscuits were more successful this time, passed some next door.
DS and his sidekick GS3 came and sorted out my new telephone, I was unable to see when a message had been left.
Both being very tecky minded they were on to it straight away. They had a chat with Sil in the garden, GD2 was home so she also had a chat with them.
