G'day Missy! Lovely to hear from you. I reckon you'll be busy with all the new cleaning regulations this coming season on Mt Buller. Take care x.
Had a lovely surprise yesterday when DD turned up at door! I'd missed her text on Friday so we weren't expecting her. Sat outside in the sunshine for a couple of hours before she went. Think she's worried about her dad especially as the BUS still doesn't seem to have got itself back to some sort of normality in all non emergency departments.
Spoke to DS earlier and he's hoping to come back next month! That'll be fun coping with him self isolating. Luckily the house is big enough and he can have his own bathroom and I think he intends to be here for several weeks. He can do his work remotely so that shouldn't cause any problems.
Has been a lovely day here but quite windy. Looks like it's going to be a bit on the hot side this coming week.
Take care ladies and hope all those feeling under the weather soon feel better xBelieve you can and you're halfway there.

WeeGranny - what a lovely surprise your DD turning up (even though it wasn't supposed to be a surprise!) and you must be so pleased your DS is going to be home for a few weeks. I think it will take hospitals some time to get back on track with non-Covid treatments and procedures. My friend M was telling me about friends of her totally self-isolating for two weeks so their DD, who is about 21, can have an operation on her knee (sports injury I think). They have to be absolutely sure that she's not infectious before the op, and it seems they are prioritising patients who are young as being the safest to operate on.
Clover - it must have been lovely to see DS and partner yesterday. You've had to be on your own for such a long time, when you are exhausted and very sad. Hopefully it won't be too long before you're able to travel to your DDs to see them.
Plant - my blue flowered plant has got a bit straggly as well, and right at this moment I can't think of its name!! I'm sure I'll wake up at 3 am shouting "Geronimo, - it's a XXXXXXXX!)

Good morning Nan2 and Oma, and everyone else.
I agree, I can never work out how a two person household creates so much washing!
Is B feeling any less sick today Oma?
WG, surprise visit from DD, and DS coming home!
Today I am hoping that my friends birthday present ordered from Body Shop (and expected here last Saturday morning at the latest) will arrive today. We saw them on Saturday but I explained that part of the present hadn't arrived, so I will just drop the present off, in time for her birthday tomorrow. I hope to be able to do that today. I ordered a couple of new cushions and throws from Dunelm so will collect those when I go to my friend's.
Tesco collection between 4 and 6. OH has arranged golf for 4ish, since we booked the slot, so I will go by myself. As it is Tesco you don't even get out of the car, they load the boot for you, so I think I can manage
Plenty of housework to be getting on with while I wait for the parcel!
I hope today begins a good week for us all.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning Nanto, Oma and all who follow.
The suns' shining, but it still feel showery here, but the week ahead is looking good.
Plant - Lithodora! Is that the one? I've just checked and you should cut it back after flowering.
I need to do washing today - bedding, lights and darks (not together!). As Oma says, where does it all come from! Housework calls as well. It's looking very neglected at the moment.
Nanto - I hope our window cleaner puts in an appearance soon - we've missed him a lot! I've cleaned the kitchen windows inside, but it's not worth the effort when they're so dirty outside.
I hope all the poorly people are feeling a bit better. Take care, everyone. xx
Edit: Gem - our posts crossed. It looks like we'll both be busy with the chores this morning."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Oh dear Oma, I do hope B soon feels better. As for the washing, I am alone and often wonder where is comes from. On another subject, I have ordered that wallpaper, been deciding, my BIL in England is a painter and decorator and he said to go for it on just the one wall as I have enough light coming in from the dual aspect. Soooo, made a decision. Now the work.

Sorry to hear that B is still feeling sick Oma, hope they can offer some help on Thursday
Thanks for the name of the plant daisy, I must write it down. I was right to cut it back then, that's good.
You just needed a bit of reassurance Lizzie to make that decision.
WG what a lovely surprise for you having your DD turning up. Now you can look forward to your DS's visit.

Good morning everyone.
That's a pretty picture Nan2.
This morning I have a phone appointment with the women's physio. That is at around 11.30, so I have plenty of time to blitz the living room and dining room before then. OH has left for the golf course, so no one here to linger over breakfast with!
GS2 is coming for a few hours in the garden this afternoon.
I hope all are well, have a good day“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
