Afternoon ladies, I am late reporting for duty today, what have I missed?

The day didn’t go as planned, but it turned out ok in the end. My drs appointment was cancelled last minute so we went to the hairdresser as planned, ( OH just has a number one over his last bit of hair) and I had a trim.
We then got on the bus that stops out side the hairdressers and went into town where we did a bit of shopping. I brought a couple of jigsaws, OH brought me some for Christmas and I’ve really gotten into doing them . We then went for a meal and then came home.


Qwerty it sounds as if if you are having a horrible time today . Hope tomorrow turns out better.

Had a good game at bowls, now feeling knackered. Embroidery this evening so a busy day.

Storm was so funny today ,
As I have said im getting rid of my arm chairs , so B decided to wash them then give them a buff up with leather cleaner , its a bees wax based

He finished one chair and I was in the kitchen while he was buffing the other chair ,
I walked in and Storm was busy licking all the wax of the chair he had already done had to chase him off and do it again , he tried all ways to have another lick
We had to cover them with throws to stop him , so what did he do but climb up on them

He knows he cant get on the furniture unless he's sleeping over and we cover them with throws , so he thought it was ok to do it now

His face was a picture when I told him to get off , im sure he sighed and tutted at me

Plant - I don't know how you fit everything in, but it will be lovely to spend a bit extra time with your GD.

Gem - there's nothing to stop you getting your photos sorted out now, Gem! We haven't got a convenient Aldi, and Lidl's not much better.

Oma - I had to laugh at Storm licking all the wax off the chairs! Eva likes to lick the Musher's Secret Wax I put on her paws, but funnily enough doesn't lick it off her paws, she just tries to lick it out of the tin! If you've got a comfy chair or sofa, it's for the dog. If you've got a nice cuddly blanket or throw, it's for the dog, if you've got a nice comfy lap and are sitting down, it's for the dog! So Eva says!!!

Enfys - good to have a lazy day after your busy week-end. Have you met your GD's young man? Is he nice?

Nanto - you inspired me last night to make an extra cake to put in the freezer. I made a carrot cake and a sponge cake and froze the sponge cake ready for emergencies!

Qwerty - I'm so sorry you're not feeling at your perky best. Will you get the blood test done again? I'm sure you're right about GD2 - she's ok, but only sort of ok, if you know what I mean. When we got home from school she changed into her PJs and onsie and played on the Fire. She looked a bit pale, but said everyone had given her a good welcome back to school.

Apart from the sudden rush of affection when I was on here this morning, Cooper has been very good. I think he's starting to grow up - a bit!

So much rain here OH's golf competition is cancelled. They have a lady coming to tell them all about the new golf rules system. This was meant take place after the competition, so they will just go for that this afternoon.
GS1 pick up for me. With rest my wrist is better than it was so I will drive it this week. It was sore last night after doing the reflexology treatment. My Dr's appointment is tomorrow.

Good morning all. Very wet and windy here, blowing a gale in fact. I’m pleased we don’t have to go out today especially as I had a bad night and am feeling shattered. P is cooking breakfast.....first time he’s done that for ages 😄 so I am being waited on 👍🏼

DD has told me GS starts after school computer club today, so I will pick him up at 4pm rather than 3.05.

Just checking in I am being very lazy this morning. GD came back this morning as her cat doesn't seem to be feeling well, not eating apparently. I need to pop out to Hobbycraft and I have Trefoil Guild this evening. No housework for me today.

Morning all. I am in the middle of renewing the plaque for dad. The plaque in on a kerb stone the edges the garden of remembrance where his ashes are scattered. I had the radio on at the time and they were reading out the names of the horses running at the Cheltenham Festival and what do you know, there is a horse running with his name !!!

As per, its raining again and its getting windy, I blame OH as he was talking yesterday about cutting the grass today , he has obviously upset the grass cutting gods
