Not the chairs Qwerty just changing the table , its a bit battered now what with the super glue then bashing a chunk out of the edge , had a table runner on to hide it but decided to finally renew it and going for a round one this time to save room

My goodness what a day weatherwise! Gales and lashing rain then we finished the day with bright sunshine!

Have been advised to do a bit of walking daily. Yesterday, no problem, waked round the new estate behind us. No way I was going out in today's weather. OH was going to Sainsbury's so suggested I went with him. Car park under cover, nice quiet, wide aisles. So I took charge of trolley and he did picking up of items etc. I was exhausted when I got home, had to go and have a lie down. However, I felt less drugged up this morning although the pain had moved from back to hip. We'll see where it is tomorrow morning.

A friend made our dining table nearly 40 years ago ( and our sideboard). Beautiful piece of wood with carvings of DD and the dog for the keys holding it together. DD and DS already arguing, in a friendly way, about who gets what when we go!

Shetland tonight ! So I shall make sure I'm sitting comfortably before that starts.

The rain has stopped the sun is out! I could hear the wind and rain all night long.
Storm Gareth has brought down a big tree near here (No one injured thank goodness, despite it falling across a busy road) and there is flooding which is set to peak in the early hours tomorrow.

OH and I are going into town this morning, She has an appointment at the bank and I will go for a mooch around.
I am having a reflexology treatment at home at 1.30 and at back to town for 3.25 as I have my Dr's appointment about my wrist.

Was going shopping today and B has appointment with Hep Dr at 11 .30 , but plans have changed
GS1 wasn't well during night so very tired today so he is with us now ,
B will have to go to appointment himself and we will shop later or tomorrow .

I bought a lovely Cardigan yesterday at the Metro centre a Black lace one really pretty , got home tried it on and the arms are so long they fall past my fingers
So that will have to go back but cant get there till next week now , so annoying having short arms

Good morning everyone. I'm sorry I still haven't had chance to catch up with all your comings and goings.

I went straight to bed last night after dog training, and was woken up at 8 am by a b***** sales call just after 8 am! I hate being woken up by the phone - I always think something terrible has happened, so I'm on my second calming cuppa. We've got to go to the bank this morning, then we're finally starting to look for new arm chairs and possibly a new sofa, then a quick trip round Sainsburys. That's if we don't get blown away by the wind. At least it's not raining and the sun is shining on and off. Wish us luck furniture hunting - it could be a long job!

When DD called at 7.30 my heart sank luckily it was just GS1 needed a day at home , usually they call on mobiles so when house phone goes that time of the morning it does make you jump
