What a day weatherwise my goodness wind, snow rain sleet the lot 😱 g/ d gone home now and I’m about to have a nana nap , this little girl will talk the hind leg off a donkey don’t know where she gets it from!😬. I am all Legoed out , built a tower block , a car and a cafe , painted, but no reading , she brought her book but to be honest I don’t think she is bothered only on chapter 4 so think I will go back to the drawing board about an Easter gift , was going to buy her the 2nd book but she played more with her generation doll so she will be getting another outfit 😐
WG nice to be back home isn’t it they are good places to be when needed but not like home, take it easy and no housework naughty girl
Enfys Glad you had a lovely break , we can’t expect much from the weather at this time of year but it just recharges your batteries
Plant you would expect to be in a warm environment in a theatre , I can’t do with cold draughty places , such a blooming shame

We've had some rain today, but mainly just horrendous gusts of wind.

Sun is shining now,but the heavens opened at 5am.

Cooked some pie filling yesterday, just made the pies and got them in the freezer.
Saves having to do them when i get back from in laws.

Nan2, I love having meals in the freezer, but just don't seem to do it often enough!

This morning OH and I are taking the laptop over to a friends house. She knows a lot more than we do about them, and has more than once offered to help me sort out my photos on there. They are in a complete muddle and I can never find anything. Also, a few months ago OH did something to the laptop! Neither of us know what. I managed to put a lot of it right, but not fully. Hopefully this friend will!
This afternoon I am going to my one remaining regular client. As he pays me what my reflexologist charges, I just pass the money on to her each month

The sun is out but boy is it cold We had all seasons in one day yesterday ,
Dog is asleep so wont want the door open for a while ,
Nothing really planned today , we going to give the two armchairs a wash and get them advertised so they are gone when new ones arrive , I have a couple of Ikea arm chairs that I use at Christmas they dismantle and go in loft so we will use them till new chairs come

Mum was fine Oma, thanks. Telling me the same old thing she has told me 5 million times , but that is just the way it is. I could recite what she says to me. It's mind numbing for me as I spend so much time with here each week, but there you go!
It's sunny here but I imagine its cold out. When we came in last night as 11ish it was very cold.

Bowls today but GD2 is off work for a few days and her boyfriend is at work, she asked me yesterday if I wanted to do anything. We don't see as much of her now she has this boyfriend, she is madly in love. I even had to make my own G&T on Friday!

Up late this morning, had a lie in after our busy weekend. It’s very windy and icy cold here, just popped out to the freezer in the garage and I was glad to get back inside. Luckily, we don’t have to go out anywhere today so that’s good. In fact we have nothing planned until hospital on Thursday apart from some food shopping.

Plant, our GD has a new boyfriend too, someone she met on her travels. He is also back in England for a couple of months and they try to meet up when they can, he’s only a couple of hours away. So we don’t see her much either.

Plant its the armchairs that we bought as a three piece suite , The sofa still looks like new as its hardly used but the chairs are looking lived in now but I want new chairs and I want rid of the electric recliners I don't like them

Good afternoon everyone. Just a quick check-in for me as it's Cooper and girls day! GD2 has gone back to school today, but she told me very seriously that she was better but was rather tired!!

Oma - we need to replace our electric recliners - they look a lot worse than "lived in". I don't want electric ones again, the wires drive me nutty when I'm trying to hoover. I'm sure you will sell yours very quickly.

I'm not ignoring people - I knew thge peace wouldn't last - Cooper's trying to help me type! I'll be back later!!!

Cold here but nice and sunny.
Our friend gave me some tips on sorting out my photo storage. We had a cuppa with her and catch up.
On the way home went to Aldi for a couple of things and ended up spending £70. So much stuff for that though, it would be twice the price in Tesco or Sainsbury's.

Afternoon ladies I’ve had better days didn’t feel much like posting but it’s all in YEO , been for a blood test for my thrioid only I took my meds this morning and I’ve been told not to take it the day you have your blood test as it gives a false reading ,so I will look as fit as a fiddle even though I’m knackered

Gem you can make such a saving at Aldi we are having one built at the bottom of our road but I won’t be able to buy all I want there
Daisy I think when children have been ill like yours it leaves them tired all that immune stuff going on she will come round soon
Nan2 I love scampi but it has to be whole scampi some you get has all the bits in I like wholetail scampi enjoy 😉
Washing load dried outside this morning
We have a loo that has a macerator as we have no plumbing at the front of the house so this was an easy option, but it’s broke down now fiddlesticks , so although we have a lovely new chair coming on Wednesday it’s become an expensive month now the engine for the loo is £200 plus , it’s not my day today
