    Good moaning each.
All quiet on the south east front.
I was taken (frog marched) out shopping yesterday to BlueWater, our localish shopping mall. Oh how I hate it. The best thing was the coffee and cheese scone in M&S! A friend had raved about an Aveda fragrance so I thought I’d have a look. The Aveda shop had no testers as a customer had knocked the lot over, and the department store with an outlet had run out of testers. I did suggest opening a new bottle but both said they were not allowed! How ridiculous. Anyhow, they lost a sale, but they did offer a free head, neck and back massage next time I go. 😁
Nothing special planned today but supper at a friends house tonight.
I should really do some gardening but it isn’t warm enough.
    Happy Friday all.

Good morning everyone. Yet another dull, cloudy day here!

It's been a busy week in the Daisy household, and this morning we've got an appointment with our financial adviser. So that's another chunk out of the day. It's what OH used to do, so I shall probably sit there with everything going over my head, but I feel I should try and get a handle on our very small stash of money!

Plant - I can't believe your GGS is 2! I'm sure he'll love the bouncy castle!!

Gem - pleased to hear kitty is doing well. Enjoy your night away without worrying about her.

Oma - I hope the paint is dry before doggo arrives. Have a relaxing day - give your hands a rest. If you're in touch with Qwerty give her my love. xx

Nana - isn't it frustrating when you don't have a chance to sit down and catch up with Chat properly! I've been like that all week.

I ended up doing OH's 'spreadsheets' as Word tables yesterday! I haven't used Office/Excel/Word for about 10 years and then it was XP version which was very different. Excel has got so clever at doing really complicated stuff, but we just wanted simple! He hasn't got to do calculations, it's just records really. He's taken on a charity role and needs to keep a log of what he's doing. He hasn't tried it yet, so I may have to do it again!!!

Food shopping for me today, then NTrust meeting this afternoon, it is the AGM before the speaker, I expect the hall will have a few empty seats.

Qwerty has been very quiet, hope all is well with her and the family.

Good morning all. I know I have been AWOL but I don't want you to think that it was because OH who won the 71 million in the Euro Lottery. Although I know where the winner lives, not far from where we used to live, and he worked at the same place as my dear dad did when he was a younger man that's as far as my connection
          with him goes !
I have just been busy with garden and family issues, this time health worries but its not as bad as we dreaded thank goodness.

Waiting for food shopping to be delivered this morning and the I MIGHT get the hot flat hissy thing out....there again I might not !

Gem happy birthday to your GS, potty training, how I remember those days with DC and GC

Grauntie I can remember the days when I loved shopping but now its become a chore. just not interested in buying 'things'. I must admit I have ordered two dresses from Debenhams to replace the one that I seem to have lost .

Oma how are the fingers, have you been painting? , I find holding the paint brush after a while makes my fingers ache.

How is Qwerty and her family

          Have a good day everyone

Just got home from inlaws, and all is well.

Hubby been helping neighbour since 8.30 this morning.
He is having car problems, and they are supposed to be going away for the weekend today.
If they can't get the car fixed, neighbour will hire a car.

I thought Qwerty might be a bit down, hope she feels better soon.

Gem, enjoy your day of potties.
Hope all goes well for DD2's FIL.

Think i will make a start on the packing this afternoon.

Good to see you Mimi, but sorry no lottery win!
It's good of your OH to help the neighbours like that Nan2.

Potty training not going too well! He was fine each day at home with DD but had an accident on each of his 2 nursery days. He has had 2 here. He has pullups on now as he's going for his nap soon.

We managed to get a sample from the cat from the special non absorbent litter they gave ( or rather sold) us so OH has taken it in to the vet's as they need it fresh.

Oh dear, I keep missing things in Chat at the moment. I'm not ignoring anyone intentionally, it's just that I grab an odd few minutes here and there and don't always have a chance to comment straight away.

Mimi - I'm glad the family health worries are not as serious as you thought.

Also pleased to see Gem's DD's FIL is out of surgery. Well done, Gem, on getting a sample from your kitty. I didn't know there was such a thing as non-absorbent cat litter! As for GS2, potty training will happen in its own good time. Pullups are a great help!

Nanto - I hope your neighbour's car is fixed. These things always happen at the worst time. How's the packing going?

Grauntie - I've never been to Blue Water, but I believe it's huge! What a shame you didn't get to try out the fragrances, though.

I have to confess I've betrayed all us Mucky Trollops by getting the hot flat hissy thing out and doing ALL the ironing - every last scrap of it, including tea towels! I'm so ashamed of myself! I'll have to go and put some washing on to create a new pile of ironing. Then I shall go and lie down in a darkened room and talk some sense into myself!

Daisy chat moves so quick sometimes its hard to catch up and comment on everything , I sometimes feel guilty if I miss commenting on any ones thread but im sure we all have done that at some time , its not that we ignoring each other its just a lot to take in

Plant both I and Gem are texting Qwerty , im sure once she feels more herself and sorts a few things out she will be back

Finished the painting thanks for asking Mimi, fingers will survive

Gem remember when E was potty training

Nanto who will look after inlaws while you are away ?

Grauntie at least you got your scone and coffee , worth going out for

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, my sister in law will be looking after in laws. We never go away at the same time.
Dad did say this morning, why do you keep going away.
Daisy, neighbours car was fixed, and they were on their way about 12ish.
Done some of the packing, will do the rest tomorrow.
Gem, good sign if DD FIL is eating.

We need to pop into town this morning. Meeting our youngest and his girlfriend for coffee.
Just a few things to pack when we get home.

                        Have a good day everyone.

Good morning Nanto and all who follow later. The graphic is lovely, Nanto! Enjoy your coffee with your GS and his girl friend. When do you leave?

Hopefully the men are coming to mend our fence today. It'm surprised it's still teetering about, but any more wind and it will be right down. Eva and I have got a dog training session at lunch-time so that will help to keep her out of the way for a while.

Have a good Saturday everyone, whatever you're doing.

                            Good morning everyone.
How nice to meet for coffee Nan2. Not long unto your hols!
Daisy, we all miss things posted in chat as it moves so quickly! I should have made thread about SIL's dad, as we tell others to do
I hope your fence gets mended today.
Oh good grief Oma, nothing could,be worse than GS1 and training!!
DD said when they got home last night GS2 dashed for his potty and did a big wee. The pullup I put on him 5 hours previously for his nap was bone dry!! He just need s more time to get used to using the potty away from home I think. DD brought his own, so it wasn't that it was a strange one.

A day of bits today. Visiting Mum, packing (not much for one night away!) Going to the catsitting neighbours, and supposedly delivering leaflets for my councillor friend. He is busy being a Councillor that he doesn't seem to have time to drop them off though, we still don't have them. They have to be done by midnight Monday and I have told him we are away Sunday and Monday, so it's today or not at all! I have a phone chat scheduled with DD3 for 7pm our time.

                            Have a good day

                              Morning all.

Not a lot going on in the Clover household.

I went back to doctor this week with my BP readings which were fine. I think she finds my breathlessness on exertion a mystery. Next step another ECG and if nothing amiss a possible referral to Respiratory Consultant.

Hope all holidaying grannies have a good time.

Gem my GD wasn’t fully reliable potty wise until about 3 so your GS is doing well.

Overcast here at the moment and still not warm enough to do any gardening.

We have had a charity sack delivered so I must fill it up.Goodness knows I’ve got enough stuff to fill an entire shop.

                              Have a lovely day.

Clover, GS will be 3 in a couple of weeks time, so it's about time

I forgot to say, sending good wishes to anyone looking in and not posting. We are very busy and don't always notice and comment if someone hasn't posted for a few days, but it doesn't mean we don't care! Enfys hasn't posted for a few days, so sending best wishes to her.
