Well, been a bit of a busy day.Sister in law rang at 8'oclock this morning, to see if we fancied going to Leeds with her and hubby.
We weren't doing anything else,so we decided to go.
Didn't think we needed much,but ended up getting some more Christmas presents.
Went to a lovely pub for a carvery.
Qwerty might know the pub,but i don't know what it is called it.
Anyhow,we all enjoyed the day.
Must catch up with you all tomorrow.

I hate not keeping up with GRU. It's taken me ages again to catch up with all your news. Oma, pleased to hear you can have a break from hospital appointments. Please send Libra my love for T's progress. Qwerty, glad you're on the mend. Enfys I hope that P's treatment goes well. Anyone else I'm sorry if I've missed you out but there's a lot to remember when you've done a big catch up.

Morning all, sorry if I haven’t caught up with all the gossip but it’s a nightmare here, I don’t know which way is up!

Its not the kitchen fitters fault they are working hard. There has been problems with the floor, traffic accidents causing huge delays on the way to us and then flipping power cuts.

A lovely peaceful night with both GC (These 2 are perfect house guests )
OH is on the way to school with GD, I will collect her this afternoon. GS still asleep.
A wet day so we probably won't do much. We hope to take the GC to see some Christmas lights tonight/late afternoon. A cul de sac in the next village is famous for its Christmas lights. They raise a lot of money for charity each year. GS has never seen them, and GD was too small to remember. so we want to go at some point.
I haven't read back on chat, so hope everyone is well.

Dreary weather, bring back Jack Frost. I have the warfarin clinic this morning followed by doctors for the injection for my bones and then back here as hairdresser is coming at 12.30. Then if I feel up to it I will pop to Waitrose to save me going tomorrow. Had a lovely lunch with my friends yesterday and catch up with their news, some good some not so good.

Good morning. Awful weather here, pouring with rain and blowing a gale. This morning my friend and I are going to a new WI meeting. We both belong to townswomens guild but getting s bit fed up,with that so fancied something new, also these meetings are during the day which is better. Sounds OK, so we shall see.

Was pouring down, but it has stopped and sun trying to come out! Iced the Christmas Cake and made a chocolate marble cake for the weekend. Singing at the Christmas Tree Festival on Sunday.

Afternoon all I was up at 7 this morning with blessed neck, shoulder and upper back pain and I havnt killed a Robin hey ! but still didn’t manage to get a picture on the advent there are some early risers on here 🤪

pitch black I just had a table lamp on and wondered what the heck the noise was then realised it was rain on the conservatory roof, blowing horizontally too , now lovely sunshine
Lots of haircuts going on I never bother at Xmas I’m not going anywhere posh but like it done for the New Year
Kitchens and bathrooms seem to be coming now, I’m not at all 🤢
Gem I love to see them asleep in bed so peaceful , we have our twins next weekend hope ours are well behaved they usually are apart from a bit of musical beds

Qwerty,not sure which area we were in. i don't know the names of many streets in Leeds.
Only know Albion Street, The Headrow and Victoria Quarter by name, oh and Trinity.
As we went into the pub,tables and chairs were on the left,and the carvery was straight ahead.

Been a busy day at in laws.Done some deep cleaning for Christmas.
Hubby been mending 2 punctures and something else that wasn't working properly on Dads mobility scooter.

Had some very heavy rain today. Wind seems to have dropped a bit now.

Managed to fit the Hospital, doctors and shopping in before hairdresser arrived, got soaked at the hospital, had to come home and get a dry coat on before the shopping.
