I know some places they don't like to put seat because of groups of youngsters congregate and leave rubbish.

Want to pop out later to have a look in the ladies shops, I am looking for a dress to wear on my 80th and Christmas. I have looked in JL but no luck there. Kitten still surviving, I think he is missing his family, he seems reluctant to go out. Been raining here, getting a bit brighter.

Good morning everyone.

At the moment, I feel I'm not really spending the time I want to really taking in what everyone is doing. It didn't help being off line last week while we were away, followed by my two busy GD days. I didn't wake up till 9 am today - and OH was still fast asleep, and I really feel for the ladies who can't catch a good night. It's time I went for a shower and face what's left of the day. I'm not sure where to start - the garden's covered in weeds, the caravan needs its post-outing clean and the house ... well, it needs - sucky up thingy, dustering and the pile of laundry spilling out of the laundry bin. I'd much rather spend the time here!

Morning I don’t know what was wrong with us last night I fell asleep watching tv and was in bed by 9.30 and slept while 8.15 , OH came to bed at 10 pm with a cup of tea and fell asleep spilling tea over quilt cover I had changed a few days ago ggggrrrrr.
OH at therapy today so will whizz round with duster etc whilst he’s out apart fro that nothing happening here
Clover you did have busy day yesterday but good news about G just keep up with the cream x

Good morning. Had a rough few days, just me feeling out of sorts really. I know I’ll feel better once we hear what they plan for DH.

Clover, that’s good news for G, I’ve heard the cream can work wonders. I haven’t seen the film but have read the book and really enjoyed it. Qwerty, hope you’re feeling ok today, you needed that sleep both you. Daisy, just take it easy...all those jobs will still be there tomorrow.

Off to Heart Club gym soon then I am back at the opticians for the further eye test. We have both chosen new specs too so hope they’re ready soon. Otherwise, nothing else planned. Have a good day everyone.

Enfys, sorry to hear your are feeling stressed waiting for the next stage of OH's treatment.

Querty my birthday is in October, so plenty of time and some shops are just putting out their warmer clothes.

Wow Qwerty and Daisy you are getting some sleep in, you must have needed it.

Afternoon all.

Spoke to DD this morning arranging GS stay with us for the next couple of days . He arrives tomorrow afternoon and I have just finished adding a few extras to my on line grocery shopping. How on earth a 7 year old cost so much to feed , pleased he is staying for a few days and not a few weeks !!
I've got a chicken casserole on at the moment and we are having it with some crusty bread so that's lunch sorted.

Now how is everyone today.

Daisy its far more fun with us here than pushing that sucky up thing around and flicking a duster about.

Clover I haven't seen that film but we are going to the cinema next week to see the new Michael Caine film King of Thieves

Afternoon ladies , had a busy morning , went to Aldi first thing came back put shopping away then straight to MIL's shes got broken ribs and needed stuff doing , Changed her bed and put wash in then put her bin out for tomorrow , just goes at the top of steps the bin man comes up for it as she's on the assisted list they have ,
We then went to Morrisons for her shopping , she did want to go but didn't feel well enough , Went through her cupboards and made a list of the heavy stuff she needed as well as normal stuff ,
Did her shopping and some for us then came back and put it away , SIL was there she had made her Liver and Onions for tonight and was making lunch for her , She put bedding out and will take it in later when its dry and put it away .

Enfys its the waiting that's the hardest to get through , we have the worry about his scan now in case anything shows up , You will feel calmer when you find out xxx

Clover good that the cream is working and Dr isn't overly concerned although you will be worrying xxx

Oma sorry did I miss your news about MIL and her ribs , hope she gets well soon.

Can’t stop as I have to go and sort out the cupboards to get out as many cups and mugs as I can find as I am sure planes will soon be landing in our garden as the pilot may mistake it for an airport runway as OH is putting even MORE lights up and I might have to give bewildered passengers some hot refreshments.

Enfys, good and bad days come and go and things hit us at certain times. Mostly OH and I potter along fine, but a little change in her can have us both terrified and everything looks black. You are generally brave and positive as is your OH. We are all here for you, but understand when posting seems like the last thing you want to do.

Busy morning for you Nan2. I did hang a washload out, but not much else!
I think 7 year old boys can eat a lot Mimi! My grandson is almost 6 and eats lots.
Oma, yes I thought yesterday I needed the chair in the boot! The park is a very short walk from their house so I can just carry it there in it's carry case. Poor MIL, I hope she is in less pain soon.

Well, I can report that I'm not turning into a domestic goddess! I've achieved very little today. My excuse is that it rained, and you can't do gardening or housework in the rain! I managed a couple of loads of washing, most of which went in the tumble dryer.

Enfys you're doing really well, even if it doesn't feel great at the moment. Stay strong and keep busy with nice things. xxx

Plant - you will probably find the perfect dress when you least expect it. I'm glad the kitten is behaving himself.

Mimi and Nanto - I bet your gardens look great with all the lights, even if low-flying aircraft are a problem!

Oma - Poor MIL, I bet she's really fed up with her painful ribs. Thank goodness she's got a kind and helpful family to give her hand.

Mimi - I'm sure you will enjoy having your GS to stay even if he does eat you out of house and home.

Gem - a folding chair or one of those clever fold up umbrella/sticks/seats would make all the difference.

Morning yes I’m early for a change , didn't sleep as long as yesterday but OH not up yet , hence I am on here .

OH appointment went well he didn’t want to go but came back much better will talk about it on my other thread
Off to the cinema this afternoon to see Equaliser 2 I havnt seen one but OH has on tv informs me it’s good and if Denzil Washington is in it it’s got to be good , before that looking for wallpaper, and wall lights we ordered a mirror for above the fireplace and need new lights either side now . Has anyone purchased a mirror lately they are very expensive these days
though it is very big 🙂, then out for tea
Usual housework and bish bash bosh the day will be over
Oma hope mil is coming round a bit , I m sorry I don’t think I have spoke to you about it
Gem we do have a form in the little park , no chance of sitting on it with my two, but handy to put all the paraphernalia we bring home from school
