Bright,windy morning here. Been to PO to post cards especially birthday card for DD ! Most of the post boxes in the village don't have a collection on a Saturday so it's safer to go the the PO and you know they're in the bag for collection.
OH has gone out for the day so I can do whatever I want....bliss!

Had my hair cut and coloured yesterday. It's a bit shorter than usual and I'm not 100% sure but OH says he likes it!

Think I may pop down the garden centre and get some plants for my teacher at Art class. I had to laugh, the elderly lady I take there said to me when I dropped her home last week "Will you be bringing something in next week? You usually do!" So I'll make some of my mini Chrissie puds to keep her happy! They're just crumbled fruit cake laced with brandy rolled into balls and I put melted white chocolate on top to look like the sauce.

I will spend some time tomorrow catching up around the forum.

Al too soon it came time to hand GD and GS2 over - have to let the other GPs have a turn! We took them at 2, stayed for coffee with the GPs, then after dropping OH home I went to see my mum.
This evening we went out to tea then to see Bohemian Rhapsody, which we greatly enjoyed.
PJs on now, and going to catch up with I'm A Celebrity.

I sympathise with all the aches and pains - I'm sure they are worse in the winter.

Eva and I had a good training session today, despite the rain. It was quite warm here, but very,very wet and windy.

Wee Granny - I hope you enjoyed your day all to yourself. Our post collection services are dreadful these days. They keep changing them as well. I was cross today that I'd missed the Saturday collection for some post, so they won't even be collected until Monday evening! Your mini Christmas puds sound amazing. Yummmy. It feels strange when you have a different haircut - and if you do decide you don't like it you can always grow it again. Anyway, it does us good to have a change.

Enfys - the January WI should be 'business as usual' - I hope you enjoy it. I also hope you sleep better tonight. I'm sure you will adjust to the 7 am alarm, but it must be quite a shock to your sleep patterns at the moment. What did you do most of at your K & N group - knitting or nattering.

Took my son's present, they were going out with friends for a meal. Unfortunately the jumper I bought him wasn't big enough so another trip to JL is needed. Qwerty DS is 59 today. DD and SIL are away for the night soGD1 and I had our meal together but not before we polished off a bottle of fizz. GD is going to a company Christmas party tomorrow evening so had a fake tan today and is having a hair cut tomorrow, she has bought a lovely pale pink dress for the occasion

Good morning Nanto and everyone. Those cupcakes look yummy, Nanto.

Plant - what a pity about the jumper, but at least you can change it. I hope your GD1 has a lovely time at the staff Christmas party. Had she had a spray tan before? Her dress sounds lovely.

We're looking forward to spending the day with our friends. They're over from France for a week, visiting their family in the UK. I just hope they didn't have a rough crossing last night - it's still quite blustery.

Also hoping it's not too rough for Sunshine, although I think the cruise ships are well stabilised, and at the moment the sun is doing its best to give her a good start.

This morning we are delivering leaflets. The observant amongst you may think I deliver an awful lot of leaflets! It is only a few times a year and in fact I have said I am delivering this batch a few times but not gone. Generally due to rain. Fine out there this morning and come hell or high water they will be out!
I must do some present wrapping too, and put back the sofa bed which GD was sleeping on.

I have now ordered two more larger size jumpers to be picked up tomorrow and the other one will be returned. By the way I said he was 59 he is in fact 58, sorry son. Wind has dropped and we have sunshine. GD is at the hairdressers, should be back soon, I am pleased she won't have wind and rain to contend with when she leaves the hairdressers.

Leaflets delivered - it was a lovely morning for a walk
Christmas tree chosen and bought, prescriptions collected.
Lunch now, then we need a few things from Tesco.
