Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.
      Cheerful picture Nan2 !

That time with friends is just the sort of thing you and OH need Enfys.
That surprise visit must have been nice Oma.
You paint a busy happy picture Avo
Family Saturdays sound nice Plant. I hope you are rid of that cough soon.
I bet you were ready for feet up after that Daisy!

This morning we are going to see my auntie, and this afternoon my mum. Not much else lined up today.
      Have a good Sunday everyone,

        Good Sunday morning, everyone.

Plant - what a lovely idea, having a family day on Saturdays.

Avo - I hope the hens have rewarded you giving them a nice new home and laid some eggs for your breakfast.

Nanto - it's nice to top up decorations every so often.

Gem - I hope your aunty's feeling better. Can she get out and about yet? I'm sure you mum will be pleased to see you as well. xx How is OH's hip today?

It's action stations here today. OH needs to get some work done on the bathroom before the floor man comes back tomorrow, and we've got to clear our bedroom out - all the furniture - ready for the new floor in there tomorrow, and Eva needs a good run in the paddock, and I've got to order food for her, plus the usual things - cooking etc. and getting ready for another busy week!

Good morning all, I hope I find you all well.

Avo, mum and dad used to keep chickens and I remember all too well when dad would announce "Its time to move the chickens " This would involve myself my sister and mum and dad shooing and gentle waving off arms to get them to go into their new home.

Nan2, that reminds me I must get some stamps and write out some cards that will be delivered by the scouts. They have their collection points open already, after all a moth today it will be..... can't bring myself to say it, time is going by so fast.

Plant how is the chest this morning.

I am cooking Sunday lunch today as next Sunday we won't know which way is up as we have to empty everything out of the kitchen ready for the kitchen fitters on Monday. I told OH to enjoy it as we won't know where the next hot meal is coming from!
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Daisy, Daisy, slow down, you will meet yourself coming back as the saying goes.

DD, Sil and GD1 have gone on a coach to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, GD works for Waitrose and they are supplying the coach. I should have gone but not sure how much walking there would be and then the lurgy so I decided not to go. There were 7 of us in next door yesterday plus GGS and GGS and Sil's mother were the only ones not suffering with some sort of virus. I am going to make my mincemeat and a banana cake today, need to get a move on as I am not dressed yet.

Afternoon ladies, still got eldest g/d she is in the garage with grandad she broke the foot off Ken Barbies lover, it was her mums and and must be brittle it’s about thirty years old she was taking his boot off when it came off at the ankle , I thought it was funny but she was not amused , so grandad is making a splint for it.
Will write in my journal about the lights later
Plant still coughing ! but what about the tooth ?
S did well then Gem good for her 🏆🏆
Enfys a well deserved evening and weekend for you both takes your mind off things a little. Sounds like g/s has himself a good job there doesn’t it, that’s all we can wish for is that they enjoy their work
All is well for our little trip next week, rang them yesterday and got a better line so could hear better, but it’s business as usual so that’s a worry off our mind , now looking forward to it 😀
Enjoy what’s left of Sunday especially those having Sunday lunch 🍴

What a night! Eldest gs woke at 3 a.m. decided he wasn’t tired.... tried to get him back to sleep, he wasn’t having any of it. Then he got up and wandered down stairs and hid under the dining table and we were going from room to room trying to find him before his brother woke! Needless to say I’m feeling shattered now 😏. So a nice relaxing afternoon for me.

Didn’t sleep at all well, finally dropped off just before 7.00 and consequently woke up at 10.30. Feeling generally out of sorts today so not much going on here.

Enjoyed my Knit and Natter yesterday, not much knitting done! A very friendly group of ladies who made me very welcome, came home with lots of patterns and balls of wool!

DH still not feeling good, seeing oncologist on Thursday, feel like I’m wading through mud and getting nowhere.

Enfys lack of sleep isn't good makes you feel horrible and you find it hard to be cheerful , but it's understandable with the worry of OH ,xxx

A day of visiting the elderly today! Auntie not too good, I will write more in YEO.
Mum OK, we did some tidying in her garden and brought some of it back here as her last green bin collection has gone for the year, ours is this coming week.

It's a shame you have to miss the outing Plant, but I think it was wise not to go this time.
Poor Ken Qwerty, fancy you laughing!!
                        What a night Avo!
I hope you get more sleep tonight Enfys. I'm glad Knit and Natter was nice.

Went to Church today as there was an important meeting after the service. Another church has joined us and their building is being sold, so the money from that and from some other sales, is to be used to bring our building into the 21st century. Decisions were being made on what needed to happen next. It's always interesting to see who objects to suggestions and why. I'm all for it, spend the money and get the best we can for now and for the future. Town was full of people with lots of bags. Glad I didn't have to venture further than round the corner to the bus stop.

Well I have to say I'm almost finished my Christmas shopping. Something for GS and SiL and that'll be me. I booked tickets to see Andrea Boccelli in Birmingham next year for OH. ( I'll need to go as well!). DD wanted posh make up and I got that with 15% off!

Hope that all poorly and sleep deprived people soon feel better and have a good night's sleep tonight x

Mincemeat and banana cake made although I am 2 lemons short so I will have to pop out tomorrow early as the mincemeat has to go in the oven tomorrow morning. I hope the family are having a lovely time in London, they will be on their way home now. My virus seems to be on the way out, bought some Benylin tablets and it only took two to clear my chest. You asked about the tooth Qwerty, well all has gone quiet with the tooth and I have been referred to the hospital. They are going ahead with the next injection for my bones next Friday if the blood test is okay. I am hoping the hospital decide to leave the tooth alone as it isn't hurting now, I really would rather now loose it.

Hope you will feel more rested Enfys. You must be walking on eggshells atm.

I managed to get all my jobs done.

                              Sleep well tonight ladies.

I have had a lovely weekend. My daughter came over yesterday. We put a Christmas movie on the TV, had drinks and nibbles and wrote our Christmas cards. We did more chatting than watching the movie, but we DID get the cards written. Then today I went to London in a mini bus with a group of friends. In the morning myself and two others went to the Natural History Museum (some people went to the V&A, others went to Harrods.) We all met up again at The Royal Albert Hall for Classical Spectacular. It certainly was spectacular! I am ready for a lazy day tomorrow. Unless of course, anything more exciting turns up!
