Our electrician has delivered the box we use for the Christmas lights, all set up with a timer. He took it away when he was here last week.
No more going out late in the wet in our jim jams to switch off the Christmas lights
He put the outside box, which this one plugs into, under the front window some years ago, but we didn't have a timer.

Back home after going to hospital for DHs chemo tablets, then we decided to go out for lunch. Very nice it was too, now feeling mellow after a large glass of vino 🍷. Don’t think I’ll get much done today 😴

I moved a few things around at mum's to make room for her Christmas tree, which she likes to decorate herself. I bought her some lights with battery and timer for a little fir tree in the front garden. She is very happy about it but won't let me put them on until she has the her indoor decs done!

Gem - it's amazing how the postage costs mount up once you put those little blue stickers on them. But your DD and SIL will be so pleased to open their presents.

Just to say the family get together for my DD2's 40th birthday went without a hitch & was a huge success. Will write up in my journal when I get my strength back.
