We have all had a busy day it seems, and hopefully everyone will sleep well tonight.
Sunshine - what a good week-end. I saw the lovely photo of you DD on FB - she never looks a day older! Enjoy your lazy day tomorrow. x
Avo - sleepovers are always a bit of a lottery. I hope you get a good night tonight.
Gem - can you now sign off from gardening duties for your mum until the Spring?
Plant - mincemeat and banana cake - both sound yummy. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better - but take it easy.
WeeGranny - I agree - put the money to best use for now for your church community. It's no good sitting in the bank.
Enfys - I do hope you sleep better tonight. Sending love and hugs. xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Good morning everyone.
Oh Nan2, I wish we could order you a good night's sleep!
Sunshine, what a lovely couple of days, good for you! More good times is what we all need in life.
Daisy I don't think there will be much more we need to do in mum's garden for a while. A large fuchsia needs cutting back, but OH will do that when it is the right time. 2 large conifers in her back garden need a good trim as well, but they are beyond our capabilities.
I hope you are on the mend Plant, and anyone else under the weather.
Back to the solicitors this morning to sign the wills.
This afternoon my friend, her daughter (who is my reflexologist) and the new baby are coming. I say new, but he was born on my GD's birthday in early October. I haven't met him yet. He was the baby with the problems detected at the 20 week scan. All good so far as far as I can work out. Looking forward to a cuddle!

Good morning all.
Frost here last night.
Not a lot going on here except waiting for a specialist recycling firm to pick up loads of IT stuff OH has hoarded over the years and he sadly has no interest in anymore.
I haven’t posted for a few days as I’ve been having a bit of a wobble over life in general and OH in particular though I have been popping in to see how everyone is doing.Hope poorly people are getting better.

Lovely and sunny here atm. Bowling this afternoon, think I will go, feeling a lot better just a bit croaky first thing. Mincemeat is in the oven, very low for 3 hours (Delia Recipe). I am thinking of taking the banana cake to bowls, they will eat it. Nothing wrong with it but the family are not happy with naughties around.
Clover, I wish one of us lived nearer to you, you need a good friend to lean on.
Enjoy your cuddle Gemini. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Sitting having a tea heard a huge Bang looked out Patio windows and a car has crashed into the back of a lorry right behind our fence , looks a right off but the Drivers of both are out and seem ok , looks like the lorry has stopped for some reason and the car hasn't been able to stop , its a 30 zone around our perimeter road and its on a curve but no one takes notice and they speed around the bend leaving no chance to brake suddenly , not the first accident that's been on this little roadIm not fat just 6ft too small

Good morning everyone.
Nanto, can you get a nana nap during the day. At least it would ease your tiredness a little.
Clover, I know how hard things can be, and you end up feeling helpless and things are on top of you. Is there any possibility of some kind of day centre where either G could go for a few hours, or even both of you going together. I know my MIL found an odd half day or so break a great help to keep her batteries charged, and they used to come and stay with us for a couple of weeks every so often, which also gave her a break. Please don’t neglect your needs. Sending hugs. Xx
Enfys, I know you are anxiously waiting for Thursday to see if P is well enough for chemo. Every minute must hang heavily though. Is P well enough to go out for a while this afternoon? It’s nice and sunny, but a bit chilly but I think we’re due for rain tomorrow. Sending hugs to you as well. Xx
Plany, enjoy your bowling this afternoon.
Oma, thank goodness nobody was hurt. It’s looks like quite a bump.
Gem, enjoy your cuddles this afternoon. 😘
We’re having our new bedroom floor fitted today so I’ve brought Eva over to DS’s house to play with Cooper. But they’re both tired and being a bit silly. But at least it’s sunny and they can go out in the garden!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Afternoon folk, hope all poorly folk are feeling better, we on the other hand have a full family of lurgy, Dil, Dd, 3 g/c
Ooops Oma looks a nasty bump is it by any chance a young fella in the car , too close to the lorry in front and not allowing room for a sudden stop !
Nothing much happening trying to keep OH on the straight and narrow he’s had a little flip with his nerves and not smoking
Gem I could do with a cuddle never mind the baby, he’s still very new though ,so will still have that new baby smell wish I could bottle that
Packing a small bag for Wednesday If I don’t start now I always end up forgetting things so keep putting stuff in as I think about it
Wising you all a pleasant Monday love to Enfys and Clover who are .going through such sadness at the moment 😘

Phew! Washed the dog, blow dried and clipped her. Made the Christmas Cake, and a loaf. Cleaned and tidied the dog room and wet room. Done the washing, (two loads). Currently having a cuppa in front of the wood burning stove.... got to keep an eye on the clock as the cake is still in the oven!Grandmothers are just antique little girls - author unknown

Afternoon all. It's a nice sunny day here so far, its supposed to turn rather windy from tomorrow onwards.
I've been to have to the hairdressers this morning to have my hair cut. I haven't coloured it for about 2-3 months, I have been waiting till all the coloured hair had been cut away before I would colour it again. I was shocked to discover that my natural hair colour is now white with the odd bit of grey. Sadly the days when I was a brunette have long since passed
I can't say I dislike my white so do I leave it or go back to colouring it. I did find it a bit of a chore I must admit but also I do have a box of hair dye sitting in my bathroom cupboard, shame to waste it or throw it away?
Enfys hope P has been feeling well enough to go out today. Thoughts are with you both for Thursday
Oma that looks like a nasty bump, hope no one was hurt.
Avo I am having a cuppa but in front of the radiator, doesn't sound as cosy as your wood burning stove.
Have a good day everyoneBring me sunshine in your smile.
