Morning all, I have just got up, lovely morning, I gather we are expecting good weather this week, finishing with stormy weather on Friday, it might even have a name so the weatherman said yesterday. I am going to bake some scones this morning, then I have to pop out. Trefoil meeting this evening, the scones are for a sales table.

Hope Gem got off okay, no hold ups.

Sort of Plant , the wind has eased so they not falling and blowing around so much ,
Lucky people getting your lovely fresh Scones , I love nice warm scones and a cup of tea 😊

I'm really tired today , went to bed at 4 am and did sleep till 7.30 but not a nice sleep I kept waking with a start every 20 minutes or so .It makes you feel you have had no sleep when that happens , luckily I have no where to be today so just being lazy 😊

Good afternoon, beautiful day here. Sun is shining and it’s really quite warm. Did the supermarket shop this morning, and I have just made a litre of sloe gin, all ready for Ch.....as 🍷.

DH has his diabetic check up this afternoon so have have a couple of hours on my own 😀, going to sort out my jumpers, I’m sure I have some that can go to the charity shop. Otherwise another relaxing day. Sorry you had another bad night, Oma, have a rest today.

Oma I feel your pain, I've now have had 2 nights of not sleeping and I feel really out of sorts.

Enfys, I say Enfys can you hear me or have you been tempted to try the sloe gin ? My friend who I used to work with made her own sloe gin also and she brought us in some at that festive season you speak of, It was strong stuff . We had to work in the shop that day and after all these years I don't recall too much about it !
Hope OH check up goes well

OH has finished painting the two new fence panels and I have just hung up the hanging basket which has winter pansies in . Tomorrow I will plant out the last of the wall flowers and that will be all the planting done.

Lovely day here as well.Dried the washing in no time.
My sleep pattern has gone to pot this week.

We've just had tea and fruit scones.I didn't make them,hubby bought them while he was out this morning.

Done my reading stint at local school this afternoon. I'm sure children are getting more fidgety these days!

Off to get packing done for a few days away. Could do with this weather, but it looks all change for the end of the week and beyond...typical! I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves anyway.

It’s been very hot here too, hope you have good weather WG.

Mimi, the fumes were enough for me, it should be ready in time for,the festive season (won’t mention the C word again).

DH’s Diabetic check up went really well. His blood sugars were much better now he’s off chemo, he’s put some more weight on and BP was fine too. So that’s one more thing out of the way for a few months.

Evening ladies , the Our generation doll arrived yesterday , pretty thing hope she likes it I thought it wasn’t that big.
Garden centre for us this afternoon lunch their too , I do have ironing but sure it can wait.
Tomorrow hairdressers , and OH has his appointment , it’s not been one of his best weeks think because the kids overwhelmed him , but we will see what he’s like tomorrow

My sleep is haywire too Nanto just don’t seem to be able to get into a deep sleep and take ages to get off , hence I’m tired through the day , Oma how you manage on such little sleep I don’t know 😱

WG have a good few days away pity the weather might change but it’s a break gets you out of the street for sure

Oma we're going to stay with old friends who've moved to Minehead to begin with. Haven't seen them for ages. Men were at uni and were each other's best man.
Then we're going to Brighton. OH got a voucher for the Bluebell Railway and the i360 in Brighton so we're using it before it gets forgotten.
Looking forward to a change of scenery.
