Good morning all. Very dull here at the moment but dry and not too cold.

We usually have Dexter today but DD called last night to say she has a very bad cold and didn’t think she would go to work today as she felt so rough, we are keeping away as we don’t want P to,catch anything.

Oma, B has been busy, sounds just like P, always has to have something on the go. It’s Thursday he has his shed meeting, it just shows how much better he’s feeling, a couple of months ago he wouldn’t have been bothered. Also has Diabetic check up, and exercise test this week too.

so, a dog free day for us, I think we are popping out later as I want to get new bathroom towels....exciting 🤨

Good morning all. We've had a productive morning,
We both went to the hairdressers together which tickled our hairdresser, luckily or I needed was a trim so we weren't
there too long. We then made our way to Tesco and on the way we passed our local motel . A huge banner was displayed with ' Fawlty Towers Dinning Experience. 3 course meal £39 per person. We didn't need to think too hard about it , in we went and booked our place . Its on Saturday and it starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm . It kicks of with meet and greet with drinks and then in for our meal with laughter and chaos for the rest of the evening . We thought it was something a little different and its very handy the motel is only 5 minutes away from where we live.
Then we went on to Tesco to get some command strips to rehang our canvas print that fell off the wall yesterday !

Oma I haven't been to that shop yet, I was planning going on Wednesday but I have got some on line shopping being delivered so will most likely go next Wednesday . I like to go on a Wednesday because that's the day the street market is in town,

Safe journey Gem , you must all be so excited . I was talking to a lady today who has family in Canada and they say they have had snow a month earlier than usual .

Gem - at last it's time to be off to see DD3 and SIL. We will miss you loads, but great if you can stay in touch.

Oma - our wooden worktops are only in the utility room, so that's not so bad - but they do look awful very quickly. Last time I don't think OH put enough coats of oil on and it got marked again very quickly. It's nice to hear of charity shops doing something a little different and being busy.

Enfys - it's brilliant that P is joining in with new activities - I'm sure it's just what the doctor ordered, and as you say, he must be feeling better to want to do things. I hope your DD feels better soon.

Mimi - you are a busy bee! The Fawlty Towers evening sounds great fun, but I hope you don't go hungry!

Nanto - have you started packing for Vegas yet? My DS1 and family are going there for half term, and are so looking forward to it.

My busy day continues to be busy! Cooper is in Chew Mode Plus - he's chomping on everything in sight! It's a full-time job stopping him eating things that would make him poorly. But he's currently stretched out on the landing, on his back, legs in the air and tongue lolling out! He's still very much a puppy even though he's had his first birthday!

A friend called round for coffee and a chat and to give OH a birthday present, and I'm on my third load of washing! The postman's just delivered 4 small parcels from Amazon, 3 in plastic bags! Off to get a sandwich for lunch and then start thinking about the school run.

It’s bright and sunny here but a bit chilly. I overslept this morning by an hour. I thought I’d set the alarm last night, but hadn’t. It was a mad scramble to get to DS2’s in time, so I’m relaxing with a cup of tea to wake up properly,

Gem, somehow I missed the boat to say happy holidays! Have a wonderful time.

It’s a beautiful day here, plenty to do. I just need to motivate myself to do it. He slumbers on. Honestly, I do not know how he sleeps so much, he only has to sit in a chair and he’s off. 🙄 Mind you, we did have the police helicopter whirring above our area at 2.30 this morning which woke us up. That went on for an hour.

Now I must put drops in the cat’s ear. She has a build up of wax apparently. Very expensive wax, it cost me £58 to find this out!

dull and windy hear B trying to get leaves up but they falling as fast as he he's sucking them up .
done my housework , washed all the floors , cleaned my glass tables with Vinegar so now house smells like a fish&chip shop ,two loads of washing done now in tumble will iron them later , had my shower and having 5 mins to myself
Daisy I hate having to rush when your not quite awake makes me grumpy ,
Grauntie they now khow to charge these vets as they know we won't let our animals suffer ,
