    Good morning ladies.

    That's a cheery graphic Nan2
I certainly slept better last night as it was much cooler.

It rained overnight and is dull now.
    Away golf day for OH.
I'm going to aquafit as I didn't cancel and would be fined if I didn't at least log in for my class. I will log in then decide on the class when I get there. I can do a less energetic version!
Maybe coffee with my friends, no other plans today apart from stripping the spare bed and getting that bedding in the wash.

      Morning ladies
It's very wet here but stuffy,

Gem good to hear you slept better , don't push yourself at Aqua take it easy till your 100% xx

      Nanto
      Such a cheery graphic,on a wet day 😁

We off to take MIL to the Eye infirmary for her appointment at 10 then taking her shopping ,
She's already moaning it's too early,
One day won't harm her getting sorted early ,

Last night she complained the new gardener isn't doing a good job , he replaced her other one who wasn't doing a good job

Her cleaner isn't making her bed right ,or hoovering the floor right, it's wood flooring what she supposed to do

Her carer isn't making her tea then way she likes it , she's a waste of time.

The handy man she gets went yesterday ,
Her kitchen blind wouldn't go up the catch is broke and she needs a new one,
He was lying he's just trying to get money out of herπŸ™„
He's a waste of time also.

The new house phones we took last week are rubbish ,

All this in a 10 minute phone call.
Lord knows what we walk into today

        Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I wonder if Piglet and Pooh would come and do some weeding in our garden. They look so cheery. It's difficult when visitors don't give you an indication of times, but I know your kettle is always at the ready, and probably cake as well.

Gem, it's useful you can decide on which class to do when you get to aqua. It's great that you do sound a lot better today. I hope OH enjoys her away day.

Oma, what a catalogue of moans from MIL. I hope she's got over herself this morning, and doesn't carry on grumbling. I wonder if she's just so frustrated that she can no longer do those jobs for herself, so resorts to finding fault with the people helping her. I hope her eye appointment goes well.

It's much cooler this morning, although my weather app swore blind it was raining, but it wasn't! I usually love hot weather but yesterday left me feeling wiped out. Eva was the same. But this morning she's back to her usual boisterous self, wolfing her breakfast down and then wanting to play tug. It's a day of catching up with neglected chores for me. We've got a busy week-end ahead, and hospital on Friday, so I need to get organised.

        Have a good day, everyone.

Oma, hope MIL's appointment goes well.
The medics probably won't do things right.

All those complaints, does she even like herself.

            Nanto
            I often wonder πŸ€”
To be fair she was ok today,

We went to see about getting eye Lazer surgery as her sight is blurry, and they did both eyes while we were there,
Did the usual tests then said you can either come back as a day care at some point or have both done now.
She opted to get them done today so from start to finish we were in and out in 30 minutes.

They said her eyesight in the next few days should dramatically improve and to have her eyes tested again as she may not need such a strong eye prescription in her glasses.

From there we took her to the Range to look around and had lunch out ,
Then we took her shopping at Morrisons,
I pushed the trolly B pushed the wheelchair.
By the time we got her home she was worn out,
B made her bed put the bin out and sorted her Phones yet again ,
We left her with a cup of tea and she was going to have a nap.

I must admit I'm drained too,
I had wound myself up expecting a moody child but she was as good as gold.

Oma, you two are saints! I'm glad MIL wasn't too bad.

Don't overdo the chores today Daisy.

I didn't do the aquafit class. To be honest the walk from the car park was enough! I just logged in with my membership card, went down the corridor and out again. I feel bad that it was a wasted space someone else could have had, but I have never done that before.
It's just under a week since I started with this, so I think I was being too optimistic!

Very dull morning here with rain. It very sunny and breezy now

Gem, it was better to miss the class than set your recovery back by doing it. It's sunny and breezy here as well, but we've not had any rain.

Oma, hopefully MIL had got it all off her chest last night, and thank goodness she had. Was she worrying about the eye appointment?

I did some ironing before it got too hot, and a bit of housework. OH did some more work on the pond - it's looking better every time he tweaks it - and then some weeding in the back garden. By lunch-time though it was far too hot to work outside, so we've had a lazy afternoon with OH watching the tennis and me watching it on and off and reading. About 3 o'clock I asked OH if he'd like a cup of tea and he said yes, and then I asked if he'd like strawberries and cream with that. I think he thought I was joking, but we had strawberries and a pot of Elmlea both needing to be used, so it wasn't quite strawberries and cream, but fairly close!

No she wasn't worried as we thought it was just a consultation today,
                  Didn't expect any treatment.

It's been raining hard here but it's brighter now,
Did you enjoy your strawberries and elmlea?

Oma, glad MIL wasn't so bad today.

Our visitors didn't come, i suspect they were helping their daughter and her partner move house.

Been cooler today, and its also been very windy.

                      Good morning.

Sun is shining, but we've just been in the garden to cut some sweet peas and its a bit nippy, but it is early.

No plans for today as yet.

Hubby has got some more tomatoes ready, so we are having another salad for dinner, with scampi.

                        Morning Nanto,Ladies.
I love the smell of sweet peas ,
Sun is out but not sure the forecast for the day.
I fancy a salad too, I bet those tomatoes are lovely , I can almost smell and taste them 😁

                        Gem
How are you today, any better lv?

                        Daisy
Are you at the hospital tomorrow? I couldn't remember if you were there last Friday or not.

Not a lot to do today, I have put the dressing gowns in the wash,
They are not getting used but I thought it wouldn't harm to freshen them up.

I'm feeling tired from yesterday , and my shoulder and back ache a bit from pushing MIL's wheelchair,
B had to take over in Morrison's I couldn't push her anymore although she's a tiny little thing the wheelchair is quite heavy.

I did sit up quite late reading , I only had a few chapters and wanted to get to the end as it was a good book ,
So only myself to blame I suppose 😁

                          Good morning everyone.

Nan2 your tomatoes are doing well! Ours are healthy but not ready yet. We lost a few due to erratic watering when we were on holiday.

Strawberries and cream in front of the tennis Daisy. What excellent service your OH had

I hope you can take it easy today Oma.
I am feeling better yes less wheezy. I'm hoping to be less deaf soon as I have been having subtitles on TV!

Little E day today. OH has dentist this morning and golf this afternoon. I don't really feel like going out with him on my own today so we will stay here. He has nursery Tuesday and Wednesday so to be honest he's happy being here on Thursday.

                            Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, what a lovely cheerful graphic. Yes, it was a bit nippy here at 5.30 this morning, but it's in the low 20s now. How lovely having sweet peas and tomatoes to pick. You can't beat home-grown tomatoes. Are your sweet peas scented?

Oma, I hope those aches and pains ease off. It's hard to resist reading late into the night when you've got a really good book. Was it a good ending?

Gem, you sound rather weary, so staying in with little E is a good idea. As you say, he is more than happy being with you and after two days at nursery, he probably needs a bit of 'down' time as well. I hope OH's dental appointment is just a check-up, and hopefully it will be a perfect afternoon for golf.

I woke up at 5.30 this morning, and decided to go and finish the ironing which I'v e been putting off doing. I went back to bed afterwards though! OH is gardening again, not his favourite activity, but the weeds don't wait. I've got a few odds and ends to do, and we'll take Eva over to DS2's after she's had her dinner. My hospital appointment tomorrow is early so we'll probably pick her up straight from the appointment then we've got the rest of the day free.

Daisy, i can only smell the sweet peas if i stick my nose right in them.
Sometimes hubby gets a whiff of them when he passes the kitchen table.
He's got a much better sense of smell than me though.

OH hasn't grown any sweet peas this year, I miss the lovely smell of the cut ones in the house.

Daisy, I'm glad you went back to bed after the early ironing!

Just a dental check up for OH and all OK. She is golfing now, it's only couple of hours on Thursday not a competition usually.
GS3 was starving! His morning snacks sort of ran on into early lunch then he asked to go down for his nap not long after 12. Its usually 1 or later. I wonder if he woke up early and didn't have much breakfast?!
