      Good morning ladies

Loving that graphic Nan2! Happy gardening!

We have been asked to sit with our neighbour a few doors down this morning whist her son takes his dad to an appointment. As I now have a place at aqua OH will go by herself.

X ray appointment for OH this afternoon. As I am free I will drive her in and park somewhere nearby to wait (I am NEVER navigating our hospitals multi story car park )
Meal out for us tonight. OH had a generous voucher for one of our favourite restaurants for her birthday last year. As it is about to expire, tonight we use it!

      How are you today Lizzie?

          Morning ladies

          Nanto
          Ideal weather for gardening,
I like a salad , B will only have it as a side he has to have chips as well ,
I remember Qwerty when I ordered a salad would say it was a plate of grass
          She wasn't a salad person 😁

          Gem
          Enjoy your Aqua ,
I know what you mean about hospital car parks they are a nightmare ,even worse the multi story ones the turns I think are far to tight.

          Daisy,
How are you today? Isn't that group handy , we could do with something like that .

          Lizzie
          How are you doing?

We have been to Asda in our shopping mall and I had a parcel to pick up at the post office ,
They closed our main office it's now in a little unit no bigger than a burger van,
It's ridiculous queues out the door and one lady doing everything ,

On my way out I was accosted by a lovely little ginger and white cat.it wanted stroked and cuddled.
It was trying to get into the mall.
It had a collar and tag on ,
I looked at the tag it had a phone number and a message that said , I'm not lost just a wanderer 😁

            Good morning.

I am still not right, very short of breath, still coughing etc. I called in at the place where I do the plants, poor things were dying. The lady said it could be covid what I have, could be, the symptoms are the same as bird flu!!!!!

Gem, I have never been keen on multi-storey car parks.

Daisy, the free site here in the village amazes me! One lady is putting so much on, either her parents have passed on or they are moving into care. A lovely sewing machine the other day, the lady I go swimming with would have loved that.

I have just phoned the gym to say goodbye to our circuit trainer, he is leaving today, going to work for the police. I was going to call in, but, that isn't wise.

Lizzie, I suppose it could be Covid, take care, look after yourself.

Gem, We have a Village Magazine published 4 times a year, so useful. Enjoy your meal.

Daisy, I hope you are feeling a bit stronger today and enjoying the sunshine. Have the workers finished the job in your garden and are ready to move onto the neighbours garden.

Oma, another lovely day, the village hall where we play board games this afternoon will be cool. Love the story about the cat, they must get lots of treats.

Nanto, love the graphic, enjoy your day in the garden.

I am waiting for a Waitrose delivery, although they have instructions they always go to the wrong door.

                Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

It seems to have been a busy morning here, with phone calls etc. I'll pop back later.

Gardening done for today. Grass has been cut and the hedge has been done.
A little job left to do,but hubby thinks we have done enough for today.
                  Will finish off tomorrow.
                  Been very warm today.

DS1 called in and stayed for dinner.Told him its only salad and breaded chicken, anyway he enjoyed it.

Lizzie, its quite possible you could have covid.

Gem, a good night's sleep sets you up for Aqua, I'm sure. Glad you got a place. I hope S's X-ray went ok. You need nerves of steel for some multi-story car parks. I hate the underground one at our big hospital - the roof is low, it's very dark, especially on a bright sunny day, the lines are all but invisible and I'm sure the pillars jump out at you even as you try to park. Enjoy your meal out this evening - it sounds like a very nice present.

Nanto, love the graphic. It makes me want to go out and do some gardening. I love salads, but I'm sure I used to be more creative with them than I am these days!

Lizzie, I hope it isn't Covid, but if so they ought to be able to test for it. Our "Can I borrow ..." site is really busy and pretty much everything seems to get snapped up within minutes. Most of the items would have gone to the tip, so rehoming them is great, and saves somebody some money. I had to take the concrete and sand post down after a few minutes - there were so many asking for it.

Oma, I'm sure closing the main post office was a cost-saving exercise, never mind that the result it long queues of busy people. That cat having a tag on is very useful - otherwise you'd worry it was a starving stray. I once lead a dog off a busy main road - he seemed to know where he wanted to go - but when I looked at his collar it said don't feed him, he'll kid you he's homeless and he isn't!

Plant, yes the party of our patio we intended to do is now finished. Just have to leave it for 7 days before steam cleaning it. They will start on our neighbour's shed next week - he's waiting for the flooring to arrive. Enjoy your games afternoon.

                      I'm injured ,
I was using the hot glue gun and stupidly stuck my fingers in the hot glue,
I have two very blistered finger ends on my left hand .
They now have germolene and blue plasters on but they are throbbing a bit .

B told me to keep my fingers clear but my mind said go on stick it down with your fingers and I obeyed

Ooops Oma, hope the fingers heal soon. You should have listened to B.
Do as you are told in future.

Daisy, no tests here for covid unless you are in the hospital, it is treated as just another virus.

                            Phew, its another hot one!

Lizzie, there is no obligation to test here either. You can buy tests at a chemist if you want to know if you have it.

Ooh Oma! Ouch. I burnt my fingertips (stupidly) closing a lantern containing a candle once and it hurt for hours. So many nerve endings in our fingertips. Keep then as cold as you can and take some painkillers!

You garden will look very tidy now Nan2

Two of my friends stayed for coffee after our class.
OH was in and out of the hospital in no time this afternoon, so I didn't have to wait too long in the hot car. I had to pass the house of my friend and ex neighbour (who died in November) and see the For Sale sign, so that was a sad moment.

Time to get ready for our meal soon!

                              Good morning.

Lizzie, hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Gem,it is sad about seeing your friends house up for sale.
I won't go past where mam and dad lived. A few weeks ago, one of the roads was closed, and we had to go up the road where they lived. I kept my eyes closed until we had passed the house.

I feel back to my normal self today. It was nice to go bed last night not feeling worried about getting to sleep.
Hubby said he could tell yesterday that I sounded more like myself.

We've a little job to do in the garden, but it won't take long.

                              Going to be warm again.

Got the bathrobes in the washer, almost done now.

Bacon, beans and baby potatoes for dinner.

Asda delivery between 9 and 10. Hairdresser coming as well.

Oh,and we had a short power cut during the night.

Good morning, I am feeling much better this morning Nanto, thanks, I did have a nose bleed last night, maybe that cleared it out!

We had a power cut on Tuesday, 5pm, it lasted almost 2 hours, just this side of the village were affected.

Gem, it would be sad seeing the house for sale.

DS2 phoned yesterday, they were on their way to a cremation in Appeldoorn. They were saying DD2 is getting married on Tuesday, they have been together 12 and a half years on that day, not a big wedding just the parents and close family.

These are photo's of the plants at my front door, some have been in 5 or 6 years, I got 2 more last week to add some colour.
