Good morning. Looking a bit overcast.

Daisy, you deserve a lazy day.

    We are going into town.
Both of us want a few things. Nothing special.
I want to go to the butchers and a couple of other places.
Hubby wants some tomato feed and a couple of other bits.

Gem,lovely to have a visit from family.

Oma, enjoy your visit to MIL.

    Happy birthday to your DD.

      Good morning everyone.

I hope it stays fine in town Nan2.

I bet Eva enjoys you going on her walks with her again Daisy

Oma I hope your MIL is settled in home now.

No plans as such today. Holiday sorting out will probably be done, not packing as such but getting cases down and getting things together. I made a start last week. Some printing to do too.

      Have a good Saturday ladies.

Always exciting when the cases come out,
I always have to make a list and tick off as we go or something will be forgotten 😁

Enjoy your trip to town, will you have lunch out?

Haven't heard from Lizzie for a few days hope she's ok now.

        Daisy
We were saying the same about a ramp,
I'm not sure what he's taking for his joints but I know he has to take 6 a day for the first week then 3 a day after that.
Hope you can get out for some fresh air today,

It's a bit dismal here at the moment,
We have been to Asda to get MIL a TV magazine and a few bits ,
We are having a cupper then will go about 10.30 give time for the cares to finish.

Good morning, Oma, I am improving, I have antibiotics for a few more days then see how it goes.

It is showery here with more rain forecast.

DS1 and DIL are on their way to Sweden, Gothenburg for a few days, DS has a meeting on Monday so they have added a few days sight seeing, he has been a few times but this is the first time DIL has been. In a fortnights time they will be in Milton Keynes for a festival, I think he mentioned The Cure. A few days in Brighton first for them.

DS2 and Dil are on their way "up north" to a reception in Zwolle, friends have been married 25years and they are having a western style reception, DS2 has the vintage Ford Bronco so they are using that in the filming. I expect it will rain, he said after he has polished the Bronco it is bound to rain!

Mu nice, she will be 58 this July, she has been doing fitness lessons etc for as long as I can remember, she took the challenge with the lock down, she has a studio and people pay to follow her lessons etc on line. She was in Blackpool Tower not long ago giving lessons, she has now been placed on the short list for the British Fitness Award!

Gem, you have a busy week sorting clothes etc out.

I want to get some sewing done, not much else planned with the weather. It is Whit weekend here, I am not sure about in the Uk, DS1 said not in Sweden as he has the meeting on Monday.

            Good Saturday morning, everyone.

It's busy at Daisy Towers this morning. The dog food has arrived, so that entailed playing freezer jenga to get everything in. It really needs defrosting and a proper tidy out, but no time to do that today. Sainsburys are due soon, and OH has a friend him helping with a wood project. I'm off for a shower while it's quiet for a few minutes. I'll pop back later.

I hope the antibiotics do their job Lizzie. No bank holiday here, it was the end of May. The next one is late August.

Oma, it might be Loxicom or something like that. Our cat Daisy had it as a painkiller for her bladder tumour, but it's for arthritis etc too. It may have different name for dogs though!

Gemini, very exciting in your house getting sorted for your forthcoming holiday. Nice to hear GS1 is enjoying the company of GS2.

Daisy, just had my grocery delivered, I don’t have any pets so my sorting isn’t too complicated.

Oma, I wonder if your Mil will miss being looked after after her stay in hospital.

Our village is full of excitement today lots happening in the green all day finishing with music this evening. GD’s OH has taken part in the Penn 7 this morning and at 2pm there is a Fun Run, lots of families taking part and money is collected. Children’s races are on the green. If it isn’t raining at 2pm I will go to the crossroads and watch the fun run go by.

                Gemini,

What an exciting day Plant. I hope the rain stays away.

It's fine here now and sunny, but plenty more black clouds about. It is York Pride today and DD and GS1 were going. It was quite wet this morning for the parade but at least at the moment it's fine for the events on the racecourse.

We had some rhubarb from the garden which needs using so I have made a crumble. I am defrosting a shepherd's pie from the freezer, so a comfort food dinner tonight!

What a lovely time for everyone,
I hope it hasn't rained like here , it hasn't stopped since lunch time.

I love the vision of freezer Jenga 🤣

MIl was ok , SIL had stayed last night just to make sure she was ok first night back at home.
Carers had helped her have a bath so she was happy with that,
Filled her freezer and left a curry out for tonight.
They have given her a different walking frame , this one has 4 wheels and two trays on,
Much better than the other one she couldn't manage.
It's a lot like a rolator but without the seat ,
She's much happier with that and feels safer.

Carers are going in 3 times a day so if she needs anything they will help,
Her cleaner is going tomorrow, not that there is anything to do as SIL who talks to no one, cleaned from top to bottom .
Really the cleaner is only going to see what she wants doing next week and have a chat.

I've spent half hour vacuuming the German sausages for the freezer, B baked the two part baked loafs sliced them when they cooled down then I packed them with greaseproof paper inbetween slices and they in the freezer .
Other German stuff is jars so don't need to do anything with them.
