Good morning, Oma, I hope that you and B are feeling better this morning.
Gem, your poor DD (and the rest of the family) must be worried about GS1, I do hope that he finds his way to go to school after the holidays.
Daisy, your BIL would enjoy having you both visit him. It is so difficult this getting older.!!!
Nanto, you will both find something to keep you occupied, I have circuit training later but want to go and do the plants first where I do the coffee.
I have actually sold a (new) jacket on Vinted!!! It is the make I really like but not the model, I have only worn it once and luckily to have sold it for what I paid for it. I have to parcel it up later and take it to the depot. I also sold a few items I had from the GD's.
I am going to do the plants now, I must remember to take the cycle path along the rail, I usually head straight for the village but with the new schools being open at 8-30 it is very busy.

Good morning to all.
That's a cute little duckling Nan2 I'm glad you got your phone sorted.
Lizzie, well done on your Vinted sale!
Daisy, I'm glad your BIL knew you. Visiting poorly frail people in care homes is never easy, but in my experience, the people you visit benefit a lot.
Hard to explain about GS1. I will write in YEO later. As I keep promising to!
Oma, how is B this morning? You take it easy, as you are still recovering yourself.
Aqua this morning. I will do a little bit of Christmas shopping on the way home. One thing is whiskey for OH. I can't really put it on the Tesco order as she is usually here when it arrives and we unpack together!
We may put up the Christmas tree this afternoon. Just the prelit tree for a couple of days for the cats to get over their curiosity, before attempting to put anything else on in“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good Wednesday morning everyone.
Nanto, you never know, you may end up with visitors again. . The little duck is cute.
Lizzie, well done on your Vinted success. I bet your GDs were pleased you sold some pieces for them as well. Take care on the busy roads. Are the new schools fully open now?
Gem, I agree about visiting. D's daughter said how much he was looking forward to seeing us and he did seem pleased, but he got tired quite quickly. It's so sad, though. He's such a lovely man and has been a constant in our lives since OH and I met. I sympathise over trying to buy presents for your OH. I have to use subterfuge to even buy anything for my OH without him knowing! Putting the tree up on its own for a couple of days is a good idea. Unless of course the kittens fall totally inlove with having their own "woodland" in the house. Fingers crossed they soon lose interest.
It's dog training for me and Eva this afternoon. OH has got one of his car pals coming today. They are doing something in the shed - setting up some kind of wood working equipment I think.

I have just been to do the plants, last year I did the Christmas tree, very tall, but, some fool had put it away the year before without thinking, I went last year to take it down with the lady from the office, I went prepared, tie-wraps, made labels etc to get it boxed neatly. The lady from the office thanked me this morning, two of them from the office did it yesterday as there is something going on this morning, she said "I thanked you each time we fitted a layer"! She said it was a question of just putting it together as it came out of the box! I did it with a few from the art class last year, we had to measure each branch etc. , it took us so long to put it up. That is me, organised!!!

Morning ladies
Lizzie
Organisation makes life easier.
I have tags on all our outside lights so we know where everything goes,
I also label boxes so I know what baubles or decoration is in each one .
I can imagine how grateful those ladies were.
Well done selling the jacket.
Gem
That's the thing about buying for other half isn't it , trying to hide it or buy secretly,
take photos of the kittens when you put the tree up I would love to see them 😁
Nanto
it's always the case when you plan to do something , you can guarantee it will be scuppered, but you got the phone sorted eventually.
Daisy
Have a good training afternoon I hope Eva enjoys herself ,
I'm sure D although tired will have loved the company and seeing new faces , different from those he sees every day.
B isn't well still, He spent most of the night downstairs with a temperature and this damn cough,
We need a red cross ❌ on the door beware of the plague🤪
I managed a bit more housework this morning but not much, I'm getting tired so quickly, I did the washing up and had to. Sit down , it's like that between everything I am doing.
I phoned MIL yesterday to say we won't be going ,
she had taken herself off to Morrisons in a Taxi yesterday morning and did her shopping.
She said she took her time , hung onto the trolley then the taxi driver had put her bags in the boot put her trolly back and when they got home put her bags in the hall.
Our concerns is there are three flights of steps up to the house,
Going up and down them when your not steady on your feet isn't easy,
She won't listen though so we have to let her do it ,
She will no matter what we say .
Nothing will stop that woman

Oma, so sorry to hear B is no better. Your description of your symptoms sound just as I felt but I am free of the bug and I hope you both will be soon. Your MIL is game taking herself off shopping. I know you worry about her.
Daisy, I am sure your visit to your Bil was very welcomed.
Gemini, enjoy your Aqua. Does S like a particular brand of Whiskey?
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Just after I posted this morning Eva was sick! Her tummy was a bit grumbly last night so we're not going training! I'll give her a quiet day. I've spent an hour or so this morning sorting out jeans and trousers. Summer and winter things were all mixed up and I couldn't find anything. So now summer things are put away in a different cupboard and winter things are neatly hung in our bedroom wardrobe. I had lots of other things I could/should have done but at least I've got something to show for my morning!
Oma, don't overdo things. I hope B's soon better. As for your MIL, as you say, there's no holding her back.
Nanto and Oma - many thanks for catching up with the Advent calendar - both great graphics.
Lizzie, I agree it's better and easier to be organised. I hate things being in a mess, but they often are."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Oh poor Eva Daisy
Thanks for sorting the advent calendar ladies! I meant to post yesterday afternoon when it hadn't been done, then I forgot.
Oma take care of yourselves and hopefully you will improve soon.
Plant OH like Ballantines whiskey .It's £25 in Sainsbury's but £17.50 with the Nectar card so I was pleased with that.
Only 2 of us stayed for coffee today, then I collected an order from M&S and went to Sainsbury's.
OH has put up the outside lights.

Poor Ava I hope she's better now,
DD took storm to the vets on Friday as he was limping on his front leg ,
Vet said there's nothing wrong with him, the limp miraclesly disappeared on the way out.
Thankfully Vet didn't charge her , he had a good laugh when Storm started to walk normal , DD said she's convinced that dog knows when she gets paid and thinks let's cost her some money 🤣
Doesn't it feel good when you get something organised,Im not fat just 6ft too small

I'm glad Storm was ok, and it was nice of the vet not to charge. I wonder if he gets treats at the vets. If so, he might have staged the whole limp thing!!! Cooper has recently started to go to a new vets and he loves her to bits. He sits in the waiting room growling at everybody (it's not aggression, it's more like a conversation he's having), then trots into the surgery with his eyes on where the treats are! (He has an eye condition which needs regular check-ups.)
Gem, there are some good bargains with Nectar prices at the moment. I always look out for them - and the wine deals in Sainsburys.
Having organised my jeans and trousers, this afternoon I went online and started the Christmas shopping! This is early for me. I got some stocking filler presents for the GDs and toys for the 3 dogs and the cat. I haven't found anything for GS2 yet.
I hope everyone sleep well tonight. Night, night.
