    Good morning. Drizzling this morning.

    Hope Eva is feeling better.
    Having a giggle about Storm.

No plans again for me, I think hubby is going to his brothers that lives round the corner. Something not working properly, not sure what.

We've had a power cut during the night, think it was off about an hour.

Dinner today is tomato sausage, onion rings, roast potatoes, veg and gravy.

Daisy, good to hear you've started the Christmas shopping.

      Good morning all.
Just grabbing breakfast before GS3 is dropped off.
I will be back when he goes for his afternoon nap!

        Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I love the huggies and squeezies. And it's reminded me I want to order some clementines from Crowd Farming. I wonder what caused the power cut. It's a nuisance having to go round and reset everything that needs a timer! I hope your OH's brother's job get sorted quickly.

Gem, have a lovely day with GS3. He'll love to see the Christmas tree and the kittens antics.

I've got two clear days now, so I've got a list of jobs to get done.

          Morning ladies
Not feeling great again today, it's the tiredness, just getting up the stairs and washed is such an effort .
I dusted around and had to sit down,
B really unwell so it's a day of doing nothing I think.
Plant if this is how you felt I sympathise, I hope your feeling better now xxx

          Nanto
I love the graphic made me smile 😊
As Daisy said power cuts are a pain when you have to go around re settings clocks etc.

          Gem
Enjoy your day with E is S golfing today ?.

          Daisy
2 clear days 😱 that's a novelty for you I bet your giddy with the thought of having time to breath 😂😂
Enjoy you don't get many like that do you.

Oma, hard though it is I think you have to do nothing that isn't totally essential. Getting yourselves washed dressed and fed is probably exhausting enough at the moment.
            Yes golf for OH later.

Daisy try to make some You time amongst the jobs!

I forgot to say I phoned my auntie yesterday. She is fine and we are going out for lunch with her on Saturday.

GS wanted to play outside so we have been playing in the sandpit. It began to drizzle so we put our hoods up.
I eventually lured him in with Bing on TV and drawing. I've had a bit of cystitis this week which is improving day by day, but being out in the cold probably wasn't a good idea!
I'm treating it with plenty of water and those sachets , so hopefully won't need antibiotics.
I have to go and help with the drawing now!

Gemin, not the weather for playing in the sandpit. Keep up with the water and sachets, you don’t want an attack of cystitis.

Daisy, I am sure you will fill those two full days.

Nanto, what a nuisance having a power cut. Your OH is frequently on call for help.

I have been a bit busy this week (nice things) but I am feeling I need a rest day today. Tomorrow lunch time, I, along with lots of other oldies in the village, have been invited to lunch and entertainment at the local senior school. There is lots of activity in our front drive, I think GD2 and her OH are moving their bits of furniture from the garage into their new home, I bet they are excited. I presume they will sleep there tonight. I hope they will be fetching the mattress which they have stored in my spare room. I am looking forward to seeing the house.

We don't know what caused the power cut, but it seems most if not all the estate was off.

Its not stopped drizzling at all here. Don't know what time it started, but it was at it at 5 when i got up.

Tidied the drawers on both freezers, so its made me a bit more space.
Also made a lemon drizzle cake in the air fryer. We'l have some soon with a cuppa.
The rest has beed sliced, wrapped and put in the freezer.

Plant, glad you were busy with nice things, you deserve a rest today.

I must try a cake in my air fryer Nan2.

Plant, lovely to have plenty of nice things going on, but those rest days are important too aren't they

Just been speaking to one of my nieces, she's only 55 .
She has been to the hospital this morning,
they have put her on the waiting list for a full hip replacement then both knees. Once she's recovered from that.
She did a lot of running keeping fit and it has done a lot of damage to her joints.

There will be quite a wait but she's just thankful she's actually on the list now.

At least she's on the list Oma.

I know they are reluctant to do these replacements too young because they only last around 20 years.

It's unavoidable sometimes . A friend of ours had both hips replaced in her 40's due to a congenital condition.

Good evening, very cold here today. DD’s parents came round for coffee this morning, hadn’t seen them for ages so good to catch up.

Nanto, interesting about making a cake in the air fryer, I’ve not heard about that. I made a lemons drizzle last week and took some out of the freezer this morning, lovely. It does freeze well doesn’t it.

Oma sorry you and B are still unwell. Try not to do too much and have a rest. Ive had a busy week too, Plant, so it was nice not to have to go out today.

im going to the library tomorrow for one of their afternoon tea events. The library ladies work so hard to arrange these and we try to support them, we want to keep our libraries going. They raise funds for a local small charity with a raffle and tombola but the actual tea and cakes are free, they just ask for donations.

                        Have a good evening all.

Enfys, lemon drizzle cake does freeze well.

Oa, hope all goes well for your niece, when the time comes for her operations.

Oma, I know it goes against the grain for you, but you really do have to rest. Poor B, he must be fed up with feeling poorly. Take care, both of you. Your poor niece - she's going to have months of recuperation with all those replacements, to say nothing of the wait for treatment.

Gem, did S have a good round of golf? It was nice to get GS3 out in the fresh air, but probably not ideal for you at the moment. I hope the cystitis clears up quickly - I'm sure you don't want a course of antibiotics at the moment. Those little sachets are good though. I'm pleased to hear your Auntie is doig well. I hope she avoids all these nasty bugs going round.

Enfys, I freeze lemon drizzle cake. Perhaps it's my cooking but it seems better after being frozen! I've never tried it in the air fryer, either. Nanto is an expert with hers. Do our DD's in-laws live locally? Yes, it was certainly cold today, but at least it's dry at the moment. The teas in the library sound lovely, and it's a bonus supporting a local charity as well. Is your library in walking distance?

Plant, it's going to be a busy week-end for your family by the sounds of it. I hope it stays dry and your GD and partner's move goes smoothly. They must be thrilled to finally move in to their own place. Do you think you'll be able to have a quick look at the house this week-end? Enjoy your lunch with her on Saturday.

We got quite a few jobs done today, but none of them seem to have been finished. I started to clean the living room, then OH said could a hoover upstairs so he could clean the carpets. So I left the living room and did the hoovering and some tidying up. I also washed all Eva's bedding from her many beds, and everything went in the dryer and is now back on her beds. I don't think she appreciates the laundry service from the way she sniffs at them in disgust when they're washed. I took her for a long walk this afternoon to make up for it.

OH didn't finish the carpet cleaning either as he'd promised to help our neighbour with some flat pack furniture. I've cleaned all the dog hairs out of the tumble dryer after putting Eva's bedding in. Plus of course the usual, making lunch and dinner, endless motivating cups of tea and so on! Just off to do the Sainsbury's order for tomorrow morning.

I've been wondering how WeeGranny is. WG - I hope you're getting about more easily and not in too much pain.

                              Good morning.

Daisy, that was a busy day for you yesterday, but it's good to get jobs done.

Plant, things will be busy at your place over the weekend.

Hope all those feeling under the weather feel better soon.

No sun expected today, so I'm going to clean the windows.

Hubby out with his pal for a couple of hours.

Hubby has suggested pizza for dinner, so that's sorted.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

Enfys you are right, we should definitely support our libraries.

Gosh that sounds quite a busy day Daisy,

How are the Oma's this morning?

We never got around to putting the Christmas tree up yesterday, so that is this afternoon's job. Maybe!
I am meeting my friend for brunch, GS2 from school this afternoon and 2 friends are coming round for takeaway and catch up this evening.
                                Golf for OH.
Very wet outside by the look of it.
