Late to the party again. I had a very busy day yesterday so I decided to sleep as long as I needed it and that was 10.30. H seems to be enjoying her first week at school, I bet she will be tired tomorrow. Sil has driven my pregnant (his DD) granddaughter to the hospital as she has had a sort of show, the baby is due in 3 weeks. . Their direct route is past Chequers but I doubt they would see Trump but there will be a lot of security about. I think Sil will take a roundabout route to get to the hospital.
Gemini, I hope the hospital visit for S will go smoothly and all will be well for your trip.
Daisy, I hope the fight for the bridge saves it. I bet you are very disappointed you will not see Trump. I wonder how they got those enormous cars here for his visit.
Oma, I am sure your DD and family will be so pleased to come back to clean cars and house. Storm will be very pleased to see them.

I was wondering about H , I'm pleased she is enjoying it so far,
Maybe baby doesn't want to wait another 3 weeks 😁
You have no need to rush on a morning so sleep as long as you need it.
Storm has gone home , the house seems very empty,
He was playing tug off war with B and his toys so didn't hear them come in ,
When DD opened the sitting room door he went crazy , he has missed her , kept running round and round the coffee table.
GS came he couldn't wait to see us he is coming back tomorrow 😄
B went to the fish shop when they went saved making anything ,
Thanks for the good wishes for S everyone.
All good at the hospital, in fact we went out for fish and chips to celebrate once little E had gone home
I have a crazy busy day tomorrow and little E all weekend so a treat was needed.
I will update about S on the YEO thread .

It's not a great day here but dry , hopefully you get the grass cut before any rain,
Daisy
How was your day, did you manage to keep up ?
I bet your tired today ,
What time is your appointment at the hospital is it early?
Gem so good to hear positive news at the hospital for S it makes you relax a little doesn't it,
I know how tense and wound up we would get going to appointments,xx
Well I was up with the sparrows and I have left no stone unturned,
Everything downstairs has been washed, polished, hoovered under or behind,
3 times B had to empty the hoover with dog hairs even though we hoover every day.
I did the windows and mirrors plus upstairs yesterday so it was just hoovering for them
I can relax now knowing the house is clean but it seems empty without the dog 😁
DD sent this review last night 🤣🤣

What a cute kitty Nan2. We have drizzle here, I hope it stays fine for your grass!
I hope you are not too exhausted after yesterday Daisy, and that it was a good day.
A rather busy day today, involving all my 3 GSs!
Library committee meeting for me this morning.
GS1 will be here all day. He can come with me but wait in the library or cafe , or he can stay here with S. Not sure which he will choose.
Usual school pick up for GS2 this afternoon.
Then GS3 is being dropped here off for a two night stay. This was originally a one night stay and before the extra night (tonight) was added we had made plans to eat out with friends. So, DD1 is going to put GS3 to bed here and stay until we get in tonight!
Chinese meal for 10 tonight to celebrate our friend G's birthday, plus finally full retirement for her, after going part time for some time.

The decomposing cat from hell is Naughty Buzz , he is skanky skinny and smelly but we love him😁,
Tuxedo cat is Tallulah, she is beautiful and sits on DDs knee all day while she is working in her office ,
She managed to open the food bag and was so full 😁
Storm is expecting pudding after his meal now and buttered toast for breakfast 🤣🤣
Nanto, Hope your day is as gorgeous as ours to get your grass cut.
It is my Dil’s 60th birthday tomorrow, they are having a party, friends old and new are coming from across the country and staying in local hotels. I shall go but only for a short time. I am going with DD and Sil and GD1 is coming to fetch me after an hour or two. Of course I have known most of the guests, most of the men were at school with my son. Pray for a fine day for us.

Nanto - I got the grass cut as well this afternoon. It was very long, and still wet on the shady side of the garden. At least is all nice and green after the rain. How were the fish and chips?
Oma, an excellent review from your DD on the pet sitting service. I think it's most impressive that the fish are still present and correct. With two cats and other wild predators they must have been clever hiding themselves under plants, rocks etc. I'm sure Storm knows how to persuade his humans that he absolutely needs and must have buttered toast and puddings.
Plant, I hope your DIL has a wonderful birthday. I'll definitely keep fingers crossed for a fine day for her, although the forecast doesn't look great at the moment. I'm sure you will enjoy catching up with all their friends.
Gem, what a full-on day for you today. Tomorrow sounds pretty busy as well.
