Good morning all. Lovely morning here so far after a gorgeous day yesterday. Managed to get washing dried outside, first time for ages. Off to my art group this morning, then hopefully we’ll be able to get out into the garden after lunch.

There's been a heavy frost over night - the lawn was white first thing, but the sun's come out now. I hope it stays that way so I can get some washing dry outside.

Lovely and sunny here today, hope it lasts. Borls for me this afternoon. You all sound as if you have busy days ahead, you are cruel to B Oma making him go to Ikea.

Your church lunch sounded very successful, hope the merger goes well WG. that toffee apple cake sounds delicious. Hope the work on the kitchen goes well, a big upheaval but lovely when it is finished I am sure.

The birthday party for GGS was great and he was a star. He went to sleep, my DD has a cot here, and when he woke up the house was full of people, fortunately he loves people, he helped his daddy open cards and presents. We tucked into food and champers. GGS mothers parents are divorced and have re-married and haven't had much contact but with GS and forthcoming wedding it can't be avoided. Must say I like her very much, not too keen on him.

Oh dear I've got to get our cat into her cat basket this afternoon for her appointment with the vet at the geriatric clinic she is not going to be very pleased with this as she hates going in the basket and refuses to cooperate and puts up as much resistance as possible. I usually have to sneak up on her

Had a lovely day with DIL . had a facial and then sat in a room with the sun pouring through the window with lovely views across the fields. We had loungers to recline on , gentle music playing and lots of silly chatter. We then went and had afternoon tea but was not able to eat all the food so we were given a box and we took the remaining cakes home to split between GD and OH so everyone was happy

I am going to cut the grass after we have eaten.
Hubby outside in the sun,getting the mower prepared.

Got diced chicken in the slow cooker.
Making some pies for the freezer tomorrow.

Afternoon ladies trying to write while sat on a moving bus, not easy. Only stayed an hour with DD very sleepy today. After the weekends mess up she now has 24 hour intensive nursing with a 1 to 1 nurse. On my way back to the house hoping to have a quiet spell until girls get home .Did the housework, laundry and prepped dinner before I left .So actually nothing to do for an hour or two.

Hello ladies I’ve been a bit hit and miss these last few days, had the eldest for the w/e a lovely girl but she’s constantly on the go baked butterfly buns, painted 2 pics read a book, 2 jig saws and snakes and ladders and a movie in the evening shattered .
I bought s new phone on Saturday and after setting it all up at 7 pm Sunday my e mails died nothing in nothing out nightmare phoned virgin up who I pay my tariff to, they told me to delete my account with talktalk whom I have my e mails account and then reboot it, well of course it didn’t work and then couldn’t remember my password and they couldn’t send me an e mail as it wasn’t working, talk about going round in circles. So the tine I should have spent on here was taken over by iPhone problems, today I went out with dil and twins to a play centre and garden centre so couldn’t sort it , on my way home thought I’d check my phone lo and behold all my e mails were there so I have no idea whose fault it was ggggrrr Tomorrow Twins so wont get on much again so sending my apologies now

Now no laughing 😕 guess which numpty must have nodded 😴 off on the bus to the station and missed her stop 😊 yep me. Had to jump on another to take me about 5 minutes back to the station. There's no hope is there, God knows where I would of ended up in some strange place.
