Nice and bright here so far. This morning DH has his follow up appointment from his op, so we will do that then we are going out to lunch. The first time we have eaten out since the operation so am really looking forward to it. If the weather stays nice we are going to place on the clifftop then a nice walk along the beach. Fingers crossed. If not then plan B, somewhere inland then maybe the garden centre. I really don’t care as long as I don’t have to cook 😀🍷

Yes, when mum phoned me last night with her shopping list, so said she was pleased with the fire after the service. She wasn't too keen to have it done, we had to twist her arm so to speak, so it's a relief that she is happy with it!

Good to hear from you aggie, Enyfs hope you enjoy your freedom from cooking. Rest of you ladies have a good day. I am not going into hospital today, feeling a wee bit tired . It's a weird journey as I have to walk 30 minutes to the station, no bus 😳 train only takes 10 minutes, then a 20 minute bus ride. Then of course all done again coming back. DD getting very frustrated with her progress 😞 she is desperate to get to rehabilitation. Happier last night when SIL went in .Had me worried yesterday she was going to get her coat and insist on coming home with me. Really struggling to reach the ridiculous amount of liquid she is supposed to get through .A healthy person would struggle with 3.4 litres per day, which is what she was expected to drink in 24 hours. Looks like my stint is going to be 3 weeks here and not 3 😬his parents "have plans " for Easter 😯. Hubs not happy as MIL was trying to impress upon us all the help that was needed, and Brian said it's her son and Granddaughters as well. She needs to be able to come down after that as naturally I need to get home and recover some stamina . MIL said she had cleaned right through hmmm, least said soonest mended. Running a house this size, the girls and all that entails is exhausting. Okay when your 15/20 years younger . Well thats my grumble today, better get my big girl pants on and get on with it. 😁

Well we back from Hospital all is fine gave us 4 weeks off unless anything crops up in the mean time ,
We had lunch in the Hospital Restaurant it was very nice although B has GvH in his mouth that makes it sore he managed to polish lunch off Gave him steroid mouth wash it will clear it in no time

Hospital appointment went very well, thank you Oma. Nurses gave P a gold star! Lunch was good too, fish and chips for P and lasagne for me. Then a walk around the garden centre, didn’t buy anything, am waiting for bettter weather before ai start planting anything, Home now for a cuppa and a sit down, Glad B’s appointment went well too.

Take care Libra, you don’t want to wear yourself out, it might be a long job so do pace yourself.

Good afternoon all, What a busy bee I have been today, apart from eating my lunch this is the first time I have sat down since breakfast. I have changed the bed. done three loads of washing, washed the floors, cleaned the fridge , sorted out the food cupboard and shredded lots of paper work , in fact I think I have over heated the shredder as its refusing to work which is a same as I only got through about 3/4 of the papers. I'm am going to have to swear my allegiance to 'the other side ' if this trend continues !

Oma 4 weeks off from the hospital , that must be some sort of record for B isn.t it ?

Libra that is a nasty journey for you to visit your DD, especially on top of keeping house for the family.

Good news for you and OH Libra, it is tempting to buy things for garden but you can't trust the weather.
