Kitchen fitter just phoned......can he come a week early? Eeeeek! Can't say no though, at least it'll be finished earlier, but it's over Easter. We'll be eating out me thinks.
Hope B gets sorted out soon Oma. Regards from myself and OH.
Please Clover's BiL is back home. Hope he continues to make good progress.
Best wishes to all other poorly and 'on the mend' people.
Glorious day here and not too chilly!

WG - it will be good to get the kitchen work over and done with, and eating out always sounds a good option, and you will have the perfect excuse.

Enfys - I'm sure P enjoyed his birthday yesterday, but it's surprising how it takes it out of you. Enjoy your quiet peaceful day. x

Easy to say I. know but try not to worry Oma. The bugs around just now seem to be long lasting, and the.tooth problem won't have helped xx

Afternoon each. Firstly I’m wishing all the poorly OHs better. Then I’m wishing all the worried halves less to worry about. I hope you are treating yourselves to nice things.
All in the sick bug household are recovered, thank you for your good wishes.
We are going to friends for a Chinese tonight as it is Chinese New Year. I have just realised this is the first time I have managed a social event since New Years Eve! Whoopidoo...
I had the Japanese manicure last week, waste of time, glad it was a freebie.

Afternoon friends a quiet day here the sun WAS shining but it is dry . All this talk about gardening I love to see a nice garden but the inclination to do it well I just havnt got, only enough energy for the inside of our house never mind the outside . I wouldn’t do it properly anyway I would be pulling flowers out instead of weeds my g/d is better than me, we have a stone sink outside a conservatory and we take her and she chooses the plants from the garden centre I just buy the coffees, then home and grandad and her do the planting , a bit of bonding I believe, shame she isn’t forthcoming with a duster.
Oma I am sorry things are not going well with B but as others have said if he’s had this bug it’s going to take some sorting out , hope you find him better this afternoon.
Enfys it’s good to hear he is coming round and may not feel so helpless now he’s doing stuff but has toknow not to step over the mark

Good morning all, how is everyone?

I felt quite poorly yesterday not long before the children left, tired and as if the virus was back. Anyway, fish and chips, a night in front of the telly, and an early night with painkillers has put me right again
We are having GS2 for a few hours later, but part from that I have an empty weekend, so plenty of time for R & R

                            Nice spring picture Nan2!
Welcome home Libra. I'm sure OH and doggies were pleased to see you.

Oma, I hope B is well today, and home tomorrow!

Happy Saturday everyone, I'm heading to the Tea Rooms now for breakfast.

Good morning everyone. I love the spring like graphic, too, Nanto. Glad you slept better.

Oma - hopefully you will have B back home tomorrow. He'd better behave himself today.

LG Welcome back home. I'm sure you got a great welcome from both fur babies and OH.

It's a beautiful morning here - the sort of day I ought to be out with my camera capturing it to cheer me up on the dull, grey days. The sun is shining through the mist and sparkling on the frost in the garden. It looks much better like that than soggy with rain.

Gem - I hope your busy day went well yesterday. Edit: you posted while I was typing! Pleased to hear you're ok today. Perhaps you're not quite over the cold and just got a bit overtired.

We haven't got much planned. We'll meet up with DS2 and family for dog and puppy walkies later this morning. You will be amazed to hear I have finally made a start on the airing cupboard. I've started to taken things out - a pile for the charity shop, a pile for the dog rescue centre, a tear-up-for-rags pile, and a 'keep' pile. Our airing cupboard is huge - about 3 times bigger than any one I've ever had before, so a lot of 'stuff' has accumulated there. It will be great to get it organised.

We had another good day yesterday, Imwasmvery tired by teatime and fell asleep on the sofa. I vaguely remember DH asking if I wanted a cup of tea, the next thing I know is that it’s 7 o’clock and he’s waking me up! He’d got his own tea but was worried I wouldn’t sleep at night if he’d left me any longer. So he is staring to do little things which is a really good sign, I just have to make sure he doesn’t overdo it.

Welcome home, LG, it must have been nice to spend time with your DD.

cold here this morning, and I’m actually going out! I’ve only been to the hospital, docs or supermarket for weeks so am looking forward to my genealogy group meeting this morning,

Hope you all have a good day. 🙂
