Zizi we had the kitchen in our previous home rewired and then plastered and the thing that hit me the most wasn't the mess and chaos , it was the smell of the wet plaster , it seemed to hang around for days.

I was just pegging the last item of washing on to the rotatory line when the stupid thing decide to fold up. As its a windy day I spent the next 5 mins chasing the damp washing round and round in a circle as the wind dragged it along the ground. Luckily nothing got dirty as the rotatory line is on the lawn. When it not in use , it is folded up , giving us space to mow the lawn and relax on the garden chairs.

Oma, a bit of a nuisance having to take the towel back, as it's next door to where you are going it's not too bad.

No dinner to cook for me,it's fish and chip day.

Afternoon all, sunny and warm but damned windy, OH gone to see neighbour over the road we have been friends for 40 yrs but the gentleman is not well with cancer so he's gone to have a cup of tea and a chat.

This afternoon a walk round our local outlet shopping thingy, I started my healthy eating today, I don't know how I'll cope when we pass our usual muffin and coffee shop 😱 I need some new trousers and thick tights for the winter .

Zizi we had our 2 lounges plastered a few years ago what a mess the dust from the arterx was shocking but now when we decorate it is so much easier.

Mimi hope you get the washing dry after all that malarkey !

Oma we have just bought new towels for the bathrooms my goodness they were a price, Dunelm does seem to be on the pricey side but they are a decent quality not as much bits coming off them for weeks . Our tiles are light brown so we bought orange and red really lifts the place doesn't it


Gem we have used AO they can be a lot cheaper we usually have a look in the shops choose the one we like and order from AO cheaper because they are not a shop just online, we have bought fridge, microwave and oven always deliver the next day and always a follow up phone call to see if we are satisfied excellent service .

Qwerty I much prefer Dunelm towels , they may be a bit more expensive but wash well and last too .
only went to Sainsburys as B didn't fancy going into Sunderland that's our nearest Dunelm ,
will have to go at some point as I want to change the Bath sheets soon , he doesn't know yet 😁😁😁

I had never heard of AO until Zizi mentioned it, Qwerty but I will look into it. We will need a new fridge freezer ourselves very soon and our washing machine is on it's last legs.

I had a lovely reflexology treatment, and chat with my reflexologist. Had lunch. watched 'Stella', feeling nice and relaxed.

We are having YET ANOTHER Oven delivered tomorrow , 4th one since June ,
We have changed model as obviously the one we had has issues , this ones element has burned out in 5 weeks , They wanted to repair it but B been on the phone today and refused
They will deliver the new one tomorrow and collect this one on Monday , why it all cant be done together I cant understand but that's the way they work

All of the work we are having done was what was supposed to be done this time last year after the kitchen but I couldn’t face more workmen in the flat. The idea was that the sitting room, hall and two bedrooms would be finished by Christmas but I strongly suspect the sitting room and hall will get finished with the other two rooms being done over Christmas and new year. No distractions as all family will be away and as long as the flooring is down we can do it at our own pace although husband has done two days wallpaper stripping and pulling out of the arches and, although he hasn’t actually said anything, I know he is feeling it a bit!

on the feature wall which was black and silver there appeared a couple of years ago an Angelina Ballerina sticker which we could not get off. As husband scraped her off he let our this scream and yelled “grandma help me, help me” me “whatever are you doing you idiot?” He said it is Angelina showing her displeasure at being parted from the wall. Daft bloke.

We were in B&M this afternoon , I was walking down one of the aisles and he came behind me with one of those horns with the big black ball on that clowns use ,

He honked it , me and another lady screamed and grabbed each other , her husband and B thought it was hilarious I wont tell you what we both called him

It looks a bright day here. OH needs to cut my mums grass, as her neighbour is temporarily unavailable. I will go with her to visit mum and maybe pick up some more of the damned apples! As the forecast is good all weekend, we have yet to decide whether to go today or tomorrow.
