I've actually managed to upload a picture just now. I'm on my iPad so I don't know if that's the difference? Before I've been trying on my phone without any way to resize. I didn't need to resize on here.

Good morning one and all.

Feels very mild again, if the weather is as nice today as it was yesterday, we will be in the garden.
Grass will get another cut,hubby will be tidying up borders/edges.

Doing a roast beef dinner today,meat is in the slow cooker, roast potatoes are in the freezer.
I make my own roast potatoes, don't like the frozen bought ones.

This evening we are meeting two friends for a meal and catch up. A Polish restaurant we have never tried. The menu sounds nice though!
Nothing much planned before that, apart from washing, as another nice day is forecast.

I woke up this morning and put my foot on the floor and my knee gave way, what is that about? Never had a knee problem before. I Have strapped it and will see what it is like later.

Getting ready to nip to supemarket in a minute, went Friday but forgot my list so only have a couple of bits to get then home to properly clean the kitchen and bathroom which usually gets done on Saturday mornings but with he plasterer being here I couldn’t. Then a bit of banking and pottering about and husband will be home. Bacon joint for lunch today. Might make a pud, might not.

We are having roast chicken for lunch today as DS is popping by . Don't cook Sunday lunch very often so it will be a treat ....except for the poor fool cooking it

Well its a lovely day ,stripped bed now that's on the line in the sunshine , left the beds to Air and I will make them up with fresh bedding I ironed yesterday after lunch maybe .
New oven coming between 2-6 I hope its ok .
B just had leaf blower sucker upper out and got the garden looking less like a forest floor , although the trees still have plenty to throw down .

I think you are very unkind Oma old and rickety indeed!!! I might have to and have a biscuit or two to console myself I also think you should stop reporting on your oven antics because every time you do something goes wrong. Let’s hope this time it is delivered working and in one piece. I remember not being able to cook properly for so long when my kitchen was being done and I hated it.

Mimi it was a bit painful when I was lying in bed at 4 this morning waiting for husband to come in and say goodbye, sort of shooting pains in my knee and my bed is quite high so I am careful getting out of it (more than once when we first got it I ended up face first on the floor).

Husband and I were talking last night and he has agreed that we will get a decorator in to do the sitting room and hall, we already have the wallpaper fof the sitting room and husband wants to put some of it in the hall, we do not have an actual door between the hall and sitting room just an opening. We just need to get the paint. I do miss having the photos of the children in front of me....

Knees are funny things Zizi (although not so funny when you are suffering!) At times I am in a lot of pain and hobbling everywhere. Unforunately one of these episodes started the day before my Florida holiday last March and really spoiled my enjoyment throughout the holiday. At other times I can go months with no knee problems at all.
I hope yours disappears soon.

Wer are going bowling with DD and eldest granddaughter then Frankie amd Bennys I don't like it there it's too noisy, I like to eat my meal in relative peace but kids seem to like it

I love Sauerkraut , I'm very naughty if we have a jar in as I just get a fork and eat lumps from the jar , depends what make you get too , I love it when its very sour

Q I think I have been there for a couple of years the resulting aches and pains just haven’t manifested themselves before although I do take exception when I am reading the papers when the say that something has happened to a 62 year old and refer to them as “elderly”.

I dont like places like Frankie and Bennhs either or Costa and the like. I always feel they are too noisy and quite claustrophobic, I avoid them whenever I can.
