Busy days for most of us, it seems.

I hope the holidaymakers get their packing finished and have safe journeys.

We're going away in the caravan next Wednesday, just for 4 days - to Charmouth, Dorset this time.

Plant, I sat in the garden with my coffee this morning and the sun was lovely and warm. Lovely days like that are so precious at this time of the year.

Gem - I'm glad Sooty was ok and none the worse for his little holiday in your garage.

Clover - that does sound like an expensive day - it all happens at once.

Fresh, crusty bread and jam ..... yum, yum

Qwerty - why is it that the bad neighbours don't move!

Oma - love the silly faces I bet you all had a great time. x

              Mimi, have a lovely weekend.

Oma, depending on the weather, the grass might need another cut.
Hubby stood our favourite bench on bricks, so it isn't stood in the wet,and it's now covered in a plastic sheet.

Looks like another nice day instore for us, so off to hang out the towels and t-towels.

              Wishing everyone a good day.

                  Good morning, ladies.

Mimi, enjoy your week-end, and Wee Granny have a great time getting back in touch with your accent (which is lovely!)

Nanto - I cut our lawn just before it went dark yesterday - it's still growing fast and I think I'll still be doing at least one cut a week for a while.

Busy day for us too. We're off to the supermarket this morning, plus a few other ports of call, and OH has said he'll take my car to the car wash. This afternoon I'm going to prepare a casserole for tomorrow night's visitors, and, hopefully, get out in the garden for a while - the front garden needs weeding and a bit of a tidy up.

                  Have a good day everyone.

Bright sunny morning here. Off out later for lunch with friends. The two 'boys' want to go to a local motor cycle museum (yawn). But hooray...there are also shops there . So we will do a bit of retail therapy (there's a craft shop, wool and fabrics, lovely) then visit the coffee shop whilst they're reminiscing about their youth! Then off for a fish and chip lunch. Hope you all have a good day, too

                      Good morning everyone.

                      The sun is shining again

Lovely GC photos Oma, they are having fun!
That sounds a nice day Enfys.
Nan2, that sounds very organised of your OH.
Yet another summer has passed with the lovely blue paint I bought for the wrought iron table and chairs remains unopened, and the cream table and chairs get rustier
You are all going away! I make that Mimi , WG , Daisy, Qwerty next month -any more? I think Zizi has another trip booked. Oma are you going to have a little break, with 3 weeks off hospital trips?!

GS 2 day, but I am having a lie in as he will be a bit late. He needs new shoes, and with it being his sisters busy birthday weekend, and his mummy being away with work next week, this morning it is!
GD to collect from school later. OH and I are at her golf club for a meal and a quiz tonight.

                      Have a nice day everyone.

Went to see grandaughters new house. Thought we were only going to be out for an hour, we were there for about 3 hours.
Her partner was doing something in the back garden,so hubby helped him.
Me and grandaughter had a good long chat over a cuppa or 3.
The house is lovely, bedrooms are a bit smaller than we are used to, but i think it's always the same with new builds.

On the way,we called for some shopping, then for fish and chips for dinner.

The sun shone all morning,so the towels were lovely and dry when we got home.

Three more Christmas presents came today while we were out.

Bet your GD felt very proud showing you and Granddad around her new home , it's such a big step for them 😊
Typical stuff comes when you go out isn't it Nanto .

Just been for our Flu jabs , mine really hurt and bled a fair bit , that's never happened before ,
I hope I'm not to sore tomorrow ,I'm sure she was coming out the other side with the needle

                            Evening all

Hasnt it been a lovely day weatherwise like you say Daisy for October it's glorious , you may have time to paint your table and chairs yet Gem

Enfys hope you enjoyed your lunch with friends. must admit motor cycles do nothing for me nor a craft shop so I would be stumped apart from the nice lunch I am sure you had

We had an early start today went out for breakfast and a mooch round Dunelm, wanted some place mats, a tablecloth and some towels, ended up with just new towels the shop was a bit disappointing, they are getting ready for Christmas 😕 our bathroom tiles are a brown stone colour so bought red and orange for a change, I don't like new towels at first takes ages to wear them in, when they are worn in then they need replacing. Next we went to a shopping mall the usual outlet type place bought all of little Ms Christmas gifts, amd2 of little J's which I will tell you about on the Christmas thread .
Foos shopping done and going out with DD 6 pm and g/d it's our Festival of Lights in the city centre tonight they put buses on and you take a tour round it's quite spectacular , so better get a wiggle on
