Good morning everyone. I'm sorry I didn't make it on here yesterday.
Nana - I do hope today your cold has peaked and you are feeling a bit more comfortable. I remember when my DS2 had a similar op he thought he'd have a wekk off work and then be able to go back as long as he didn't drive or lift anything. In fact he was in quite a lot of pain and pretty immobile for the 2 weeks the doctor had told him he would be. So take everything very gently and be kind to yourself. It will get better. Sending gentle hugs. xx
Well done on all the gardening yesterday, Plant. We've got a bag full of windfall apples for chutney - a job on the To Do list!! I hope the dentist is just a check up.
My busy day was busy. We ended up taking Eva to the barbecue as well as GD2. They both loved it! The pub is very dog friendly and Eva was served with her very own bowl of water and a little packet of Sea Jerky treats! GD2 loved all the attention from the oldies, and spent ages "rewriting" the menu board for the pub! We didn't have the lovely sunny day some of you enjoyed, but it was dry and warmish. Dog training went very well - Eva's best night ever and I was so proud of her. We didn't get home until 11 pm (dog training often overruns) and I hadn't had any dinner, so I had a bowl of cereal and went to bed. I'm off to the hairdressers later and then we're going to see the Carole King musical "Beautiful" tonight.
Qwerty - I hope you got a good night's sleep after your busy day.
Oma - the chair's lovely and it will certainly make life easier during December!!!
Gem - I'm glad your mum had a good birthday, although I bet she's tired today after all the excitement.
