I rang OH just before lunch and he said his eye wasn’t too bad and was thinking about doing something on the computer. I hope he changed his mind as I think it will make his eye tired and achy!

We we had pork chops last night. I put Jack Danial smoky Glaze on them and did jacket potatoes, corn on the cob and other veggies. It was ok but not my favourite sort of food for this weather. Tonight’s dinner will be quick - salmon @nd salad. 😀

Gds have been painting today. All was going well until GD2 justspilled her water pot all ove4 th3 dining room table. 😨

We had a bit of a light shower about 4pm.
It stopped as soon as it started.

Nanto - not even a drop of rain here. It's still very warm and due to be warmer tomorrow, and again on Thursday. Then I think we might get a bit of a thunderstorm on Friday.

It was a busy day with the GDs and Cooper, with lots of sessions in the paddling pool, plus painting and other games.

I got home just after 6 pm tonight and was totally shattered and headachy. I hardly ever get headaches but this one had been building all day, complete with flashing lights, so for the first time ever I opted out of dog training tonight! I think I need an early night. Eva won't leave me alone tonight - I think she's trying to tell me we're late for class!! Very late!

I slept in spare room last night so I could leave blinds up and curtains open plus window wide open ,
The breeze was lovely till about 2.30 when it became a bit chilly and I had to pull window closed a little .

We had a little rain as I was driving GS home last night, but it was light and didn't last long.

How do you feel this morning Daisy? I think it was wise to give Eva's class a miss last night.
I hope all goes smoothly and as quickly as possible at the hospital Oma.

Good morning.

Sunny here but we had a bit of drizzle yesterday which freshened things up a bit but not enough to help the garden.

Pilates last night was a warm session. Though it’s not aerobic as such you certainly know you’ve exercised the next morning.

A general sort of day today. Watering the pots first then a bit of h.......k .Loads of ironing after the holiday but little and not so often is the order of the day.

Oma I hope the top up goes well.The dog bowl cover is genius.

Daisy I’m sure it was the sensible thing to do to give dog training a miss.

Good morning everyone. It was a little bit cooler here late last night. I might have to start digging the winter woollies out soon!!!

I was fed up about missing class last night, because they finish now until September. Eva and I will have to do some homework during the holiday!!

Clover - take it easy with the h.......k! My very fit friend swears she's more tired after Pilates than any of the other classes she does - yoga, tai-chi, and a couple of others I don't even remember.

Oma - you can't win, fancy waking up cold! I hope B's top up goes ok today. xx

I'm going to potter round in the garden today. We were going to go to the New Forest Show, but it's so hot and dry and will be very dusty, so not ideal for OH's poorly eye.

No rain here, I had trouble sleeping and am feeling very weary this morning. Nothing much to do, had planned to clean the bathrooms and wash the kitchen floor, see how I feel. Also had intended to visit the tip, we shall see how the day pans out.

Hope the top up for B goes well Oma.

You can't win Oma, hope you got some sleep. Be careful Storm doesn't think the cover is a new toy.

Daisy, you had a busy day and with the heat, no wonder you were too tired for the class. Enjoy your pottering today

Well what a waste of a full morning ,
Got to Hospital for 10 went to transplant ward and they had no idea he was coming in ,
Waited while lots of phone calls were made , eventually after almost two hours wait the specialist nurse came down from her ward round to tell us that the girl who made the appointment had not put the paper work through then gone off sick so they had no idea it was made .

Said they had phoned the lab to see if they could get some out of the freezer but it would be after 3 before they get it down'
Didn't want to wait at the hospital that long and it's a round trip of over a hour so no point coming home and going back .

It's now arranged for Monday afternoon , does nothing go right 😨
He will have to go himself on Monday as I will have GS1 plus Dog ,

We took auntie to the marina a few miles away. It was lovely to sit under a parasol overlooking the river and watching some boats come and go. Auntie enjoyed it very much

Oma,how dissappointing about the appointment.

Changed the bedding,washed and dried.
Bedrooms cleaned.
Cleaned the bathroom and washed and dried the towels.
Not much to do tomorrow,on what is supposed to be a very hot day.
Will do the ironing early in the morning.
